  1. I don't see what pins you mean on the pump. you mean the small cable you plug into the motherboard to make your PC think it has a cooler? It only has 1 pin by default. Put up a picture so we can understand.
  2. I know. But then why then is everyone going OMGOMGOMGOMG 780 best GPU ever ...epic... must buy!!! price performance OMGOMG.!!... when 780 has a terrible price performance ratio and also only offers a few frames more above GTX770.
  3. Love it how everyone thinks HD7970 is better although GTX 770 gets slightly better FPS. However I would wait for HD8000 series either to get a price drop on a 770 or get the 7970 even cheaper.
  4. Relinking me to what I already saw won't make me change my mind. You won't be able to see all 8 at the same time. And the bezels... Ugh.
  5. What I'd recommend in your position is buy a cheap aircooler while you save up for your custom loop. Custom loops with a CPU and GPU block can easily cost 300$ + most mini ITX don't have windows anyways so there's nothing to show off. You're best off getting the best hardware now and then you can add the other things later.
  6. OKOK u can but no one will ever realistically even be able to see more than 6 simultaneously.
  7. In case you can't do Math I will do it for you. 2+4=6
  8. Besides not being able to connect 18 monitors to your computer this thread is COMPLETELY useless.
  9. Hello, I would like to know if it would be possible to have a 3 drive NAS with 2 drives in RAID 0 or 1 and another one as a backup drive. Another question would be if all drives need to be the same product or if they can have different volumes and RPM/cache/controller. EDIT: to make it clear, the backup drive isn't for backup of the NAS but other files. Thanks
  10. If you are getting 20 megabit download rate you should get around 2.5MB/S but as people above have stated that is only when the server is under low load and when it's very close.
  11. Some people are more sensitive than others. It took me quite some time to switch from 120Hz to 60Hz
  12. I turn it off. I play to win and input lag stops me from doing so. Playing on a 2560x1440 btw so it doesn't bother me too much.
  13. Games usually become unstable only after a longer amount of time. If you want to confirm an overclock quickly and play a game with it, run Unigine Heaven through twice. (However this might cause the game to crash in which case you need to increase voltage or decrease clock speed Unigine Heaven download
  14. I second both of marto's suggestions. MSI afterburner is a great tool to control your fan speeds as well to compensate for increasing voltages. However some games are more sensitive than others, and remember to always run 2 runs of Heaven benchmark at absolutely max settings. If it can't run that, don't even try games. (BF3 is especially sensitive to overclocks imo)
  15. Try booting in safe mode and try resetting the card to stock speeds
  16. No fittings? and erm... some people consider 120mm radiators as useless.
  17. I recommend you wait till HD9000 series and then decide if 780 is worth it. 780 will drop in price A LOT when HD8000 series come out. It's priced so high at the moment because there's no competition from AMD. Wait 4 weeks after HD9970 is released and watch how the price of the GTX 780 drops. For the model, I can reccomend mSI. I have the 770 from mSI and the temperatures are perfect and it's quiet too !
  18. Turn the PC off. then reboot and tell us if the problem persists
  19. Try connecting your monitor to the back of the motherboard.
