Great video, but something I really want is like another "office moving vlog" where Linus or whoever would just like walk us through the changes and introduced all the new people ( because I believe some people didn't get a proper introduction and we've been seeing them for months.)

Thanks, that is quite cool story. I managed to get bunch of old PCs from school, as they were throwing them out. Socket 478 stuff and one 775 with like E7300. But it had this nice CM passive inside, and the 478 PCs had really cool small cases (I transformed one into HTPC that is now used by family - will eventually make a post about that). Then, my friend's uncle, who is an animator, was throwing some stuff away from the studio and I managed to salvage 2x Q6600 with G33M-S2 boards and 4GB of the Dominator RAM. Thanks about the cables, tried to do my best. Still need to add filter to the intake fans.

Thanks, I like it too Cheaper and better than my laptop. I can actually game on without setting the resolution to 50%.

    Eyyy

Originally (untill yesterday), it had Arctic Freezer Pro 7, but its plastic legs broke so I had to use this. Too bad its fins are wrong way.

Just follow the guide, and since that motherboard has a 6 phase VRM you should actually be able to overvolt fairly well (though don't go to hard with it since the VRM aren't cooled by heatsinks).

Edit: I've seen and owned motherboards that are worse BTW and they managed to overvolt well.

So, this year, we decided to put together a fun little giveaway for all of the techies in our audience... the chance to give mom, or grandma, or WHOEVER in your life that isn't a techie a tech-focused gift for the holiday!

    The rules are simple:

    - Comment below telling us what gift (value of US$300 or less before tax and shipping on Amazon) you would want to give to your non-techie counterpart and link to that gift on Amazon
    - In your comment, tell us WHO you have chosen to potentially receive that gift (mom, grandma, neighbor, etc.)
    - Also tell us WHY you're getting it for them (eg. a new smartphone because grandpa still has a flip phone)

Make sure your gift is US$300 or less on Amazon.com. If a selected winner has linked to an item with a value greater than US$300 they will be re-drawn!

Winners will have 24 hours to respond here on the forum. If we do not receive a response in 24 hours, we will not hesitate to re-draw.

The three (3) winners will be selected on December 14. Once winners have been selected, they will be contacted by me here on the forum, and will provide the full shipping info for the recipient of their gift. Once we receive that information, we will order the winner's selected gift from the recipient's local Amazon and schedule for delivery by December 25.

There are no age or geographical restrictions to enter this giveaway.

Good luck to all, and happy holidays!

    EDIT: Winners have been selected!

@VictorC777 who selected a Canary All-In-One Home Security Device for their Mother
@Kibelok who selected a Ninja Ultima or the Instant Pot for their mom
And @KirbyTech who selected a point and shoot camera for their dad

Thanks again for entering, and happy holidays to everyone here

Well, I was playing on ours 2600HD for a long time. It started to have problems with Borderlands and now I'm only on crappy laptop because I cant afford a new (my first) rig. Well I could, but the laptop is fairly new so I cant just buy new thing even when I have money.

I think it will only sit under my parent's TV in the living room with one HDD for us to stream movies, maybe as Steam stream-thing later on
    Do my posts make sense?

Hey guys, okay, so I registered and it looks awesome, love the other shows too, but the biggest problem for me is that it doesnt have any iOS nor Android application afaik.
That is problem for me because I watch most of your videos on iPad on smartphone in bed, since I am a student and when I wanna watch youtube, I dont waste time that I can learn something. Well ok, I game most of that time anyway but mobile apps are important for me.

Just finished plasti-dipping my GTX 970. It doesn't look too bad, in real life it looks incredibly good, in my opinion.

Will update this post if I ever get around to fixing it up. A bit of the red can still be seen through the back of the card and there is a weird red glow coming from the back of the LED. Will try and tape the back and see if that gets rid of it.

    Enjoy!
