Was thinking long about doing this to my Prodigy. Overlooked the GPU lenght thing though. How did you end up mounting the PSU? I mean, I still have 660Ti so I want to upgrade soon but until then I must solve the issue.

Great video, but something I really want is like another "office moving vlog" where Linus or whoever would just like walk us through the changes and introduced all the new people ( because I believe some people didn't get a proper introduction and we've been seeing them for months.)

Finished one of my firsts mods, just a quick Bitfenix Prodigy M motherboard tray flip. Today I bought i5 6600 to upgrade from my Q6600. With the upgrade, I really wanted to step up my game and I've always wanted a window on my Prodigy M ever since I got it at christmas 2k15. So, to get a window on the left side and improve its thermals, the motherboard tray must be flipped to the usual layout. Here we go, only basic pics now because I still haven't completed the build. (Missing CPU cooler) I will still have to figure out the mounting of the PSU etc but for now I am completely satisfied with the result.

I was watching a Facebook video today when I got some distorted audio and I had to restart the computer as nothing was working. After the restart, I noticed (very quickly haha) that the mouse is not working and that the cursor itself isn't even on the screen. I tried unintalling the driver but that didn't help. Multiple restarts didn't help. Tried PS2, bluetooth USB, normal 2.0 usb and USB to PS2 mouses but none of them work, while working fine on my laptop. The desktop is Core2Q 6600 with Windows 8.1 Embedded that I've been using for the past year or so.In the device manager, I'm getting yellow triangles next to all my mouse devices with sayings like Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Unable to Load Device Driver} %hs device driver could not be loaded. Error Status was 0x%xMouses don't work in safe mode either. Other USB devices such as keyboard or Wifi adapter are working fine.I would be really grateful forany help, thank you.

That's weird. I don't think I've encountered hex screws on more than 2 occasions here in the Czech Republic. We use Phillips here in Europe, just as everyone else.

If I get chosen by you guys by some insane luck and miracle, I would love to participate for the New Blade I have no chance of spending that much for a Core, considering I run Q6600 with GTX660Ti. I am perfectly happy with that though. If the Stealth is for an artist, I dont want to take a chance from someone who would benefit from it more, as I can learn Photoshop etc on the Blade easily as well. Q6600 with 4GB of RAM is not really great for that. And if someone here is in the market for a new laptop, listen to me and be grateful, because I wish someone told me this when I was buying my laptop. Dont go with Lenovo with AMD APU that costs a lot. Waste of cash and I could have had a pretty decent Scrapyardwars PC. So, New Blade. Portable. Light. Wont burn my crotch. Thanks guys!

@Frosty11 I will do some benchmarks as soon as I get it 100% setup. What you had in mind? I guess Tomb Rider and Shadow of Mordor would be good?

@Frosty11 I can only tell you I get around 37°C at idle and now around 57 when plaing Dota. Did not OC yet and I am worried about it in SFF case with kinda bad cooling. I will try to do some benchmarks but I am bit new to that, I guess I will use Cinebench?

Thanks, that is quite cool story. I managed to get bunch of old PCs from school, as they were throwing them out. Socket 478 stuff and one 775 with like E7300. But it had this nice CM passive inside, and the 478 PCs had really cool small cases (I transformed one into HTPC that is now used by family - will eventually make a post about that). Then, my friend's uncle, who is an animator, was throwing some stuff away from the studio and I managed to salvage 2x Q6600 with G33M-S2 boards and 4GB of the Dominator RAM. Thanks about the cables, tried to do my best. Still need to add filter to the intake fans. Thanks, I like it too Cheaper and better than my laptop. I can actually game on without setting the resolution to 50%. Eyyy Originally (untill yesterday), it had Arctic Freezer Pro 7, but its plastic legs broke so I had to use this. Too bad its fins are wrong way.

Hey guys, so I'm doiny my first rig (super cheap Q6600+GTX660Ti). I have two of each Q6600 and GA-G33-S2 mobo. I want to select the best pair, so do I just swap them and bench them until I get the best result? What should I use? Cinebench, or would you recommend anything else.

Cpu bining AMD naming scheme (As you guys did with Intel (what is core i3/5/7 etc)) Fans' blades types (some blades are curved differently etc - maybe what is good for small form factor etc)
