  1. I would definitely check in on the rules your school has about that. I know my high school always had rules about selling stuff at school. You likely won't get in trouble if you get caught if it's just candy.
  2. Just an update: I ended up reinstalling using a bootable flashdrive, then using my old drive just as a storage drive. I had some issues authenticating windows, but I was able to talk to MS support and they authenticated it for me and gave me a key in case I have any more issues. Thanks for the help.
  3. I like the headset. Mmmm, woodgrain.
  4. Hello all, I recently bought my first SSDs. I currently have all of my Data on my old 750GB Hybrid drive which is still installed in my computer. I would like to migrate Windows 10 to one of the SSDs and use it as the boot drive. What is the best way to do this? If possible I would like to keep all of my existing data. I don't really have any backup options at the moment, other than what little I could put up on Google Drive. I'd prefer to not have to buy an external drive or something. I would also prefer to not have to buy a new copy of windows. Anyone know of any good methods to achieve what I am looking to do? Thanks.
  5. I believe most of the issues of OS X compatibility have to do with drivers. I would check out Tonymacx86 for more details about hackintoshes, and parts compatibility.
  6. Because 4k is 4x the pixels of 1080p, and 1080p is roughtly 1k pixels tall, so 4k is 4x the pixels of 1k? Idk Marketing is stupid.
  7. But Corsair CX power supplies are actually shit...
  8. I went from a Galaxy S4 to a regular iPhone 6 last December, and I can tell you that it's definitely big enough, and has enough pixels. The S4 had a better pixel density but I couldn't even tell the difference. Also, the QUALITY of the iPhones display is waay better. Better colors and contrast make it feel like a better phone.
  9. It's probably a GT920M or something similarly awful. No way that thing can dissipate the heat from any moderately powerful cards.
  10. Trying to optimize for a use case which doesn't physically exist yet is like trying to guess lottery numbers. Just wait until the Oculus is out, then buy whatever GPU benchmarks best for it. You are wasting money if you upgrade before then, assuming that is all you care about.
  11. The first PC I ever had was a Gateway 2000 with a Pentium II or Pentium 4. I can't remember which. I played Croc on it. I don't remember how good or bad it was because I was like 7.
  12. chromebook and a gaming desktop.
  13. My thoughts basically. The thunderbolt display is just an update version of the cinema display right? It's not worth the $999 by a long shot, but it is pretty, if all you are doing is looking at it while it is off on your desk.
  14. Do you mean the Mac Thunderbolt/Cinema Display (1440p)? If so it's pretty old and also quite overpriced for what it is. Not really worth the premium price tag IMO, unless you absolutely have to have a monitor that matches your laptop. The LG is a beautiful monitor, but I've only spent about 5 minutes with it. Not really enough time to give an honest opinion.
