  1. Studs Yes. Drywall No. Studs are 16" inches apart. (Standard) You can find them by knocking on the wall.
  2. IMO. For 2k/1440p Skip the rtx 2060 Super @$400 Not that it's bad... Just not a good value, when compared to rtx 2070 @$500 or rx 5700 xt @$350.

    G2a?

Too much of a crap shoot. I know I'm late but that is exactly what I am sitting here thinking when I saw this site... The whole "pay for protection" seems like a shady business practice. If I had a business, I would make sure ALL my customers had a wonderful & protected experience so they could return business. Like Ebay! The whole notion that if you don't pay for some "Shield" than you are practically on your own,"rolling the dice" and could loose.. turns me away. I got more faith in hitting the lottery or a slot machine before this. Reminds me of (If you've ever played Blackjack) @ a Casino and the dealer ask "Would you like to purchase Insurance?" Always say NO! This is known as a "Sucker's Bet," to make more money for the House/Casino.. Now you lose twice ; )
  4. I did and it's working! Just had to reinstall Driver/update.Thanks for replying.. The 960 is a good card but man'o man, the 970 is awesome!
  5. Hi there! My question is: Today I bought a new GTX 970, to replace my existing GTX 960 on my first build. (EVGA GTX 960 FTW) (EVGA GTX 970 SSC) My first thought was that I probably need to Uninstall the 960 Drivers before Installing the New 970 Drivers. But Nvidia Is saying that it is "Not Necessary" or that they use the "Same" drivers... (Both GTX 960 & 970) Is this True? All I need to do Is physically replace the 960, with the 970? Any other Tips? Thanks! My Specs: I5-4690K Asus Z97-A Mobo 8GB (2x4) 1600 RAM Corsair 650CX PSU 120GB SSD (OS) 2x 1TB HDD
  6. If you just google "Anti-Surge Support" it's nothing but ASUS entries... With a bunch of different solutions and fixes... Some work, Some don't.. Not saying it's the problem just the common denominator..
  7. Sorry I am just now getting back to you.. Life.. It has already happened twice this morning... I don't know exactly what a power conditioner or UPS is so I googled it and think I understand the concept... As far as enough PSU, I have no ideal? Keep in mind I am a first time builder.. My Specs are: I5-4690K (Stock) Asus Z97-A EVGA GeForce GTX 960 Superclocked 8gb (2x4gb) DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengence Corsair CX600 80+Bronze PSU 1TB WD Blue HDD 1TB WD Black HDD 120GB Samsung EVO SSD (OS) ASUS DVD_CD Burner I don't know if this mean's anything or caused my problem but this all started after I installed that new 1TB WD Blue HDD, 2 days ago... After it happens, Shut-off, it says "Power Supply surges detected during the previous power on. "Asus-Surge" was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit. Press F1 to Run Setup." My region is South-Southwest (Midwest) State: Arkansas I hope that help's answer your question and thanks for trying to help!
  8. Yes it is on a 6-plug surge protector and it said on the bios it was "protected" but IDK
  9. Dang it.. It look's like you have a new build too.. And we don't have the same power supply's so I hope it is an Electric problem
  10. Thanks for replying When I google this... It seem's people make it out to be an ASUS problem...
