WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.

"The best bargain we could consistently find was a model from eVGA, the 256-A8-N340-TX GeForce 6600 with 256 MB of graphics memory and based on AGP, all for under $120."
More like 224 MB of Vram! Anyone? Okay...

You are correct that they SHOULD get a ultrabook, and I've been steering them towards that new zenbook or a similar thin and light, but they don't even want to get one of the good macbook pro's, they want to cheap out and get the non retina one that hasn't been updated since 2012. This will browse facebook and twitter just as well, but it will also help them for the small amount of video editing and photoshop work that they do. But yeah, if it goes wrong it could go onto me, but Im willing and able to fix it if I get to use a windows machine.

Lanciferp got a reaction from LudoTheGreat in Most anticipated phone in 2015?
Personally Im hyped for the Asus Zenfone 2. Looks to be pretty baller for the price, even if the rumors are true and the 2gb ram 1080p model isn't $200. I plan on getting one next week, depending on the initial reviews and such.

Software Engineering here. I have absolutely no shortage of work, in fact people chase me all over the place for work! During office hours I work with robotics, during all other hours I work freelance doing just about anything Software related and in my spare time (if I ever have such a thing) I'm working on an MMO right now.
My job/s often want me to travel all over the world at a frequency that I dictate. I can also dictate when I work and where from - for instance if I feel like staying at home then that's fine or if I feel like coming in at 1pm and leaving at 4pm then that's also fine
I receive great benefits including family private medical, bonuses, various other insurances and so on...
I have quite a few colleagues with electrical and mechanical engineering degrees who work on both design and construction of robotics. From what I have seen I think they have a lot of fun and enjoy their jobs as much as I do.

oh, oh I have a good one, my sisters "tech master" boyfriend said that minecraft is a huge virus and that it is a problem on their laptop, (it is installed so my niece can play on my server) he says that the connection to my server in installing viruses and keeps uninstalling minecraft, but he never even looks twice at the limewire they use to get music and videos. and they don't even run any antivirus, they uninstalled the free version of avg I put on their laptop because it was a virus too according to him.
