  1. From what I can tell, it isn't making any noise.
  2. Yeah, my computer had literally been powered on for a week. It generally doesn't get shut down besides for software/firmware updates, or power outages. I've had this build since January and use it daily.
  3. While watching Twitch, I noticed that my computer was stuttering, etc. when I was doing nothing. Glanced at my system stats and HOLY SHIT! Rebooted the computer turning all the fans on max and all the panels off... and as you can see...
  4. I'd love the non-stealth blade. I'm not about the concealed carry life
  5. I'd love to get my hands on one of these to test the input lag. Might even be useful at small LANs where you want to showcase certain games/matches!
  6. This would be sweet for my dad who doesn't have much space in his apartment for a computer and could use to game casually and surf the net. I could probably mount it to the back of a monitor that's VESA compatible and it would take even less space
  7. I've tried both of these solutions and nothing has turned up. My PSU is a SeaSonic G-Series 550W 80plus Gold. I never get anywhere near the top levels of power draw.
  8. So, I RMA'd my previous GPU (Zotac GTX 780) because it was super loud at idle and started giving me blue screens line nobody's business, like every blue screen error under the sun. Naturally I tried various methods, switching OS's, using different versions of the drivers that I knew were stable in the past. etc. In the interim when I was using my good ol' 560ti I had literally 0 issues. Got a GTX 780ti back from RMA and ate another bluescreen (MEMEORY_MANAGEMENT) Relevant System Specs: 4790k Asus z97-E 16gb Kingston BluBlack Ram Zotac GTX 780ti ANNNNNNNND here's the dump. 9. I can see the heatspreader and the ATPO through the packaging. Like I've said earlier, it matches up with what's on the box.
  10. I don't understand the point of opening it if I can't test it until tomorrow.
  11. It was sealed indeed. I've seen many CPUs sold that were still sealed. I should have probably asked for the fucking receipt before purchase (for warranty purposes), but I was eager to start building and there's been a lot of shit in my life lately so I wasn't exactly thinking clearly... =_= I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow to test it as my I don't have an LGA1150 motherboard at my place yet and the only friend I have that's currently in the city is out to the movies.... and has a curfew.... =_=
  12. I did not because 1) I don't have a motherboard to test it on yet and 2) I don't want to open the box because I'm not sure of the process I should take in the case that it's fake.
  13. I don't want to open up the box in case i have to go to the cops, but all the things on the heatspreader match up with what's on the box. EDIT: Even the ATPO# that's on the cpu (i managed to see it by pushing the cpu down inside of the box) matches up with the last 4 digits of the s/n on the box.
  14. So I bought a 4790k off of someone using a Buy/Sell website like Craigslist. The box was sealed but after the transaction I noticed that there were no foil genuine stickers on the box like there used to be. I looked at several unboxings and from the ones that show the barcode etc. there's foil Intel logo (e.g. https://youtu.be/KBQU_AfCt2g?t=23s )wheremine is just plain. Also when I search for warranty information on the Intel site, when I just search for it by FPO# it pops up, but when I search by FPO# and ATPO# it can't find anything. Though, to be fair, my current 2500k can't be found by using both numbers either. HALP!
