Hi guys. Haven't posted on this thread in a while because I've been upgrading my studio/gaming set-up constantly and just recently completed it. (for now)
It was initially a gaming room when I was in high school all decked out with nerdy game posters and the like, but then I got into music and turned it into a make shift recording and producing room for me and my friends.
Here's a panoramic shot of one side of the room.
Here's individual shots of the entire room.
My PC specs are in my sig.
The foam I bought off amazon for a grand total of around $150 and the sound panels I built which cost about $30 ea to make as opposed to the $60+plus shipping ea from an online seller.
Note:I don't actually record where that mic is.

Driver installs fine, I downloaded it from the nVidia website and installed it like it's a desktop. Also the laptop recognize the card is there and Windows installs the basic nVidia driver right at first startup, but I prefer the clean install of the current latest driver.
Image quality may be bad, because it's getting dark here.
This is the official picture of the adapter with some technical information about the ports and switches:

PC Gamers; please educate yourselves, think critically and give yourselves time to contemplate before making purchase decisions. And please; STOP PRE-ORDERING!!!
The Starwars Battlefront Beta has come and gone. A number of us got a taste of what the game will be like. It looks stunning and runs surprisingly well on most hardware. Seems like it'll be a great game right? Not necessarily.
There's no single player campaign and there are a number of other things the game will be lacking. Angry Joe hit it right on the money with this little rant he posted the other day. Bottom line; as it stands, the prices EA have set are a little high - especially for the "special content" versions - the content of which you can simply unlock by playing the game for not a very long period of time. EA is buttering up consumers with marketing to make as much money as possible while delivering content that isn't worth the cost. Even if you really do love the game and want to buy it (and there's nothing wrong with that, IMO), I would strongly urge you all to NOT pre-order and NOT buy the special premium versions. Only buy the base game on or after release the date. AFAIK, none of the exclusive content is worth the extra money.
Enjoy Joe's rant and take heed.
I have a strong feeling this is simply the next Titanfall. People will play it for a while, then loose interest. I could be wrong, though. Time will tell.
The important thing here is to look at what you're getting for what you're paying and think about it. Does this make sense? Is this really worth what they're charging? Don't make any decisions on a whim, give it some serious thought.

This is the setup I'm working with since Saturday. I just picked up a open box Dell U3415W from Microcenter for $722.96. Perfect condition and everything was missing. Since I bumped up to 1440p Ultrawide, I picked up a open box 980Ti SC from there as well for $611.
Gaming on this monitor is jaw dropping. I was aiming for a 27" 1440p, but I'm glad I went this route. As you can see it is my main monitor sitting next to a Dell S2415H.
