  1. Go for @modguru relatively cheap and perfect for the job!
  2. I need an 8GB stick of 1600MHz ddr3 sodimm RAM for my laptop, what would you recommend?
  3. Purely preference, I do prefer wired for my desktop, but I just think it's weird for a laptop
  4. I have recently bought a new laptop, so now I'm looking for a wireless mouse to go with it. I mainly use the laptop for video editing, so it needs to be extremely comfortable/ergonomic as it will be used for extensive periods of time. Haven't really got a budget, recommend what you will.
  5. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Molex-Express-Graphics-Power-Cable/dp/B000KU3QD8
  6. 300-400 on a PSU!?!?!? Btw, you don't even need a new PSU, you can convert two molex into one 6-pin
  7. Does it have to be a male?
  8. For gaming, go with an i5, it'll be much more stable than any AMD chip when running high end games
  9. Don't listen to Rockstars specs, they don't seem to have a clue.
  10. Are you sure?? From what I've read, nVidia Optimus allows them both to be active at the same time.Edit: And yeah, if I was planning on gaming I wouldn't have bought a laptop with an 820m aha, I bought it for the CPU
  11. My new Asus laptop arrived on Friday, and it says under display adapters, that it is using both the Intel HD4600 graphics and the Geforce GT 820M at the same time. From what I understand, the HD4600 provides the image whilst the GT 820m 'enhances' it by programming straight into the frame buffer. Is this correct? Please help me to understand how this works, it doesn't bother me, it just seems like a very strange setup Edit: Maybe not strange, just a bit pointless.
  12. My new Asus laptop arrived the other day, it came with Windows 8 however I've downgraded to Windows 7. I have managed to install all of the drivers etc... But I cannot seem to find the actual software to view the webcam, anyone know what it's called?
