  1. Nice game of choice, looks clean, sure! Looks good overall
  2. I guess I would just keep going until something worse happens, because it seems that it doesn't have an affect on performance, and is very isolated in terms of its occurrence. I didn't know if you contacted them, so I assume they may have a software fix for the issue somehow, but since you did, I now know that the issue couldn't be resolved without wasting time RMAing it, so I would just enjoy your card for the time being
  3. That's really odd, especially because of the circumstances when it comes to when it happens. I had a problem like that, but only at random intervals, and never when it was powering down for seemingly an entirely different reason. And that sucks that you've had bad experiences with cards, but resolving the issue with the manufacturer ASAP will help you get rid of the problem as soon as possible, so I apologize for the inconvenience, but I would recommend contacting them in case there is anything they can do about it without you having to send it in
  4. That's not normal at all. You should probably check if there is any potential obstruction in the way of the fans spinning. I had a similar problem with my R9 280, and it was because I had a zip tie that I forgot to cut stuck in it when I was cable managing my system. If this keeps happening for some reason, just contact the vendor or manufacturer for troubleshooting/RMA/returns

  6. Here is an Intel i9 build if you want it, won't impact GPU performance too much because 1070 Ti is not that much different, but if the CPU-bound performance is that important to video editing, then here you go: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i9-9900K 3.6GHz 8-Core Processor $529.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler $84.35 @ Newegg Motherboard Asus - Prime Z370-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $159.99 @ Amazon Memory G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2400 Memory $229.99 @ Newegg Storage Hitachi - Deskstar NAS 4TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $133.85 @ OutletPC Video Card Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB WINDFORCE Video Card $359.99 @ Newegg Case NZXT - H500 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case $69.99 @ Amazon Power Supply SeaSonic - EVO Edition 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $41.05 @ Newegg Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1659.20 Mail-in rebates -$50.00 Total $1609.20 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-10-18 15:44 EDT-0400

  9. I would personally get really fine tweezers and trying to remove the metal that way. Bending the metal could risk damaging the port, and won't help the port become usable anyways.
  10. The Sennheiser HD598/598SE and the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's come to mind. DT 770 Pro's have a fun sound signature, really good sound stage for Closed Back headphones, and they are closed back so you can listen to music in public, but even more so, they are hard to drive, so try to find an AMP if you go with these, and if you use them on the go, get the 80 Ohm variant, because the 250 Ohm is really hard to drive. If you get the HD598s, please note that they are hard to drive, but they aren't as aggregious as the DT770 Pros. They are open backed, meaning that they leak sound so using them in public is a no-go, but it makes them more immersive. They have the usual Sennheiser veil, and they sound pretty good as well.
  11. Update: I may have found the culprit. There is a background process called snnpodv.exe and it is not letting me close it, saying the access is denied. What should I do now?
  12. Possibly, this is the first time in a while I have done a scan. Also it is not letting me use Razer Synapse now. I haven't had this problem until now and my hard drive doesnt have any bad sectors or anything. Now I am pretty sure it is a virus as it keeps making me reinstall MBAM and keeps disabling real-time protection.
  13. I am trying to scan my E:/ Drive for malware with Malwarebytes. The issue lies when I try to it immediately BSODs and makes me force restart it every time. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
  14. lol. assuming that i wanted my headphones to be broken. i would rather have a semi broken pair of nice headphones then a fully broken pair of headphones...
  15. I have had my DT770s for around 5 months, feeling great about their sound signature and build quality. But then I noticed that I could not hear out of one side of the headphones. I did not mind too much, and went on. And then, while listening to music, the cable just ripped off. I did take good care of them. I did some research and found out that this is a well-known issue with the DT-770s. But I don't know if I should go through the trouble of actually RMAing these. I have heard that their support is great in Germany, but is flaky in the U.S. If anybody had this issue or an experience with Beyerdynamic's Support, I would like to know so I could further proceed with audio monitoring. Thank you for any information.
  16. Yeah. I also heard that bad buiness practices and lack of options are good.
  17. I am buying a new monitor, as I am tired of the mediocre viewing angles of my monitor i have now, and how it lacks in color reproduction. I will be using the SRGB colorspace for the majority of my content creation, so it is fine if the Adobe RGB is not the greatest, as most of the software and games I run do not have ICC correction enabled, although I would like having a high color-accuracy at both, as I might start using Adobe products in the future. I am not l33t 360_noscope!!1!! 1 gamer, so I do not need the fastest refresh rate or the fastest latency, as I would like to have an IPS monitor, but display overclocking is an added bonus for me, and I would to have a 4-5ms response time with that as I do game quite a bit sometimes. So please suggest me a monitor in that price bracket (although it can go under or a little over), and thanks for taking your time to answer this question.
  18. Thank you. I just ordered the 770 pros, thanks for the advice.
  19. I do not care about looking like a fool. Mind you I will be using either one as a daily driver so I just want to know what would suit me to either one, as I will use them as a daily driver, so I will be using them as a both at home and on the go, so I would just been wondering which would be better like sound stage, noise floor, clarity etc..
  20. Hi, I have went through the list of recommended headphones (the one that SSL made) and I have found one contender from the closed back over ear and in ear headphones; the Beyerdynamic DT770 and the Sennheiser IE 80. So I would like to know which one would be all around contender for being better than the other (comfort, sound signature etc...) , and other benefits and cons tailored to either one. Or if you have other suggestions instead of the two listed, than please do! Thank you for responding if you do.
  21. Hello, my HyperX Cloud II's have kind of died. This is either the 2nd or the 3rd time they have died on me, so I'm getting a bit tired of how they keep dying, and as I expand my scope of music listening and genres, they start to sound muddy and washed out. So I am willing to spend around 200 dollars or under would be better. I would prefer to have closed back, but open back or semi open is fine as I do listen at a very low volume usually. I prefer a pretty neutral sound signature, I do not like hearing a lot of base but I don't mind something more colorful to sacrifice a little bit neutrality. Thank you for your suggestions!
  22. Most wireless gaming mice (or nearly all high-end wireless mice) have a re-chargeable battery in the mouse. Expense should not matter because with a budget of 1,000 dollars for peripherals, it does not matter. Also the Logitech mice such as the MX master etc... can be used wired to charge it while using it, and electromagnetic radiation is not a problem considering these high-end mice undergo ridiculous QC and testing to ensure that they aren't effected by this or other things around them, but different strokes for different folks I guess.
  23. The Titan Xp is worse in terms of overclocking, which justifies having more than one 1080ti, its simply 200 dollars more over the one Titan Xp and destroys it. The 1800X has NO overclocking benefit over the 1700. In fact, due to the lower TDP of the 1700 compared to the 1800X, it can match the 1800X in terms of overclocking while having the same basic specifications. In fact, almost all of the RyZen 7 chips have a 4GHz (or slightly higher) peak performance, unless you are really lucky with the silicon lottery.
  24. Well what about the G900 Chaos Spectrum, which has the can best out the Deathadder Elite in terms of latency, a wired mouse using the same sensor, which has the advantage of not having any drag added to it due to wires. Or the G403 Wireless Edition, which has been used in a winning game in a legitimate eSports tournament (Cloud 9)?
  25. I think 144hz is too extreme for me anyways, I could not justify myself buying one. And he would need IPS for editing and other things that require color reproduction. Also I think G-Sync is too expensive, as its a difference between having a second monitor or having a minuscule amount of fluidity. I would like to add that it really is not. If the person is going to be streaming and running other software in the background, it might actually be justified. Are you actually saying that in an overkill system like this you should not have top-class performance?
