  1. Can't really think of much, AMD raid has never been great IMO. Are you on the latest X670 chipset drivers from AMD?
  2. When a display is turned on from cold, it will have a worse response time. You need to let the display "warm up".
  3. more the reason not to ban them, let them eat the garbage food haha I think we will end up seeing even cheaper micron/crucial products than we do now! I cannot wait for high speed 4tb nvme's to become even more affordable than they are now
  4. The fact that powercolor is an AMD exclusive AIB makes this even worse. From memory, AMD cards have hotspot related issues since vega. You would think by know they would be checking this more thoroughly.
  5. If the only issue now is while changing display modes (eg fullscreen or resolution changes) I would not worry about it. It could easily be a driver, cable or GPU issue. I would ensure drivers are up to date, check forums for any known issues and replace your video cable.
  6. usually an impact to the corner or edge of the glass
  7. You have a HP prebuilt, you will need to check if the PSU currently installed is standard or proprietary.
  8. Likely less hassle just to buy white ones.
  9. Avoid, AIO's for GPUs are custom and cannot be easily replaced if they fail.
  10. Lets how apple manages to intentionally half ass this feature. I'm expecting some stupid your warranty is now void message or an annoying popup every time you launch a sideloaded app.

  12. I mean their logo is literally an eye, of course they are watching
  13. 60hz for everything that requires scrolling, 30hz for video playback is fine ~90hz for single player 120hz+ for multiplayer

  15. I can only assume the liquid cooler is failing or clogged up. If the fans are running full speed when the card is at 90c then that's most likely your issue. Your best bet would be to determine what PCB the card uses, and find a compatible air cooler or waterblock if you want to go custom.
  16. As @PDifolco mentioned your data is pretty much gone IF you deleted your partitions before installing windows, if you DIDNT do that: Your data will be in the windows.old folder on the C drive. If you only see 1 of the 2 partitions you mentioned you might need to go to disk management and assign a drive letter to the second partition. If all else fails a professional recovery service may help you.
  17. For starters this is a different topic. What the guy said Is taking the following advice and drawing the wrong conclusion: NAND like to run warm. The controller likes to run cool. If your heatsink does not have a fan, the controller heat can actually help pass that excess heat over to the nand anyway. So in your case yes, its wrong.
  18. If the heat isn't in the heatsink its in the drive. Which is worse.
  19. a hot heatsink is a good thing - that means it's working.
