If I run Cinebench 2024 on a multi-core load, it maxes out at 83 C. I believe the max temp is 90 for this chip.
Is 70 C normal for having three programs open?
the X3D runs hotter than the other chips. this is normal.

It's all normal. TDP is a bullshit lie anyway.
My 5800x3d has similar temps.

Razer Cobra Wired if you want mainstream.

At work, most of our laptops can charge via USB-C now. I'm looking for a solution on our workbench to replace all the power adapters we have with ideally a single USB-C Charging Brick that supports 100W on each output. Are there any such solutions reliable enough that other IT Professionals out in the field would recommend?
There's this but ideally, I would want 4 or more if possible to cut down on the clutter.
I doubt you will find anything since a 400w 4 port power brick would be a rather niche item. Most charging stations are designed for overnight or slower charging etc.
Why not just cable manage the existing adapters under the desk?

A similar thing was happening with 6th to 10th gen intel CPUs running APEX legends.
They had to write a workaround patch to stop the crashing.

if i pull out the old drive , install windows on the new drive by itself, then reinstall the old drive would that isolate it enough?
I've seen windows somehow adopt the other one....
You could put your BIOS into hybrid uefi+csm
Have a legacy install and a uefi install? That might work?
-
You need to pay attention to your boot partitions. If windows finds a boot partition on another HDD (such as a windows install) it won't create a new boot partition and use the existing one. Which means one install will require the other drive to be connected in order to boot.
I know uefi works this way, BIOS may be different.

My 5800x3d system has been the most stable, quiet and performant system I've ever built. (in April 2022) Usually I'm cracking the case open every few months to fiddle with "something", not this time.

The pin that clicks into my 970 geforce gpu has broke and the wifi card is below it but right right above the wifi card is a gpu slot. can i move my gpu right there or no? and below the wifi card is another gpu slot would that be a no?
you can put the clip back in if you want, its not required so just use the slot anyway.

Look I'm not trying to say this isn't bullshit but for years if you pay for star citizen you get access to the current version of the game.
Yes its not finished, and its a bit of a different story for the kickstarter backers. But I feel I can argue right now you can play a version of the game if you pay. Where is the scam in that?

Try a new DisplayPort cable?

Sounds like you either having a mounting pressure issue on the AIO, or a dead pump. Or the plastic is still on the bottom.
can't be the plastic as it was a pre-applied thermal paste.

If you have the budget, you can get one of these.
The Sidekick looks like a re-badged MetroVac but it's also a lot more powerful for the ~same price. I've been using one [Sidekick] for years.

Ryzen 5 3400G only supports pcie 3.0 and might only be X8 depending on whats installed or what board you are using.
This doesn't explain the 1x, so power management mode is set to prefer maximum performance? in nv control panel?
