At work, most of our laptops can charge via USB-C now. I'm looking for a solution on our workbench to replace all the power adapters we have with ideally a single USB-C Charging Brick that supports 100W on each output. Are there any such solutions reliable enough that other IT Professionals out in the field would recommend?

There's this but ideally, I would want 4 or more if possible to cut down on the clutter.

I doubt you will find anything since a 400w 4 port power brick would be a rather niche item. Most charging stations are designed for overnight or slower charging etc.

Why not just cable manage the existing adapters under the desk?

if i pull out the old drive , install windows on the new drive by itself, then reinstall the old drive would that isolate it enough?

I've seen windows somehow adopt the other one....

You could put your BIOS into hybrid uefi+csm

Have a legacy install and a uefi install? That might work?

  3. You need to pay attention to your boot partitions. If windows finds a boot partition on another HDD (such as a windows install) it won't create a new boot partition and use the existing one. Which means one install will require the other drive to be connected in order to boot.

I know uefi works this way, BIOS may be different.

just trying to download an ISO , which apparently requires being an admin... to download a file... the account is an admin account so...

any other ideas where to download windows from because it would appear it's too difficult for microsoft at the moment so if you know a good place that'd be great

Use your phone to grab a direct link from Microsoft's website. The website Changes when using your phone. https://software.download.prss.microsoft.com/dbazure/Win10_22H2_EnglishInternational_x64v1.iso?t=87dbf8be-c9b8-459c-b5d7-7de239921a2a&e=1702436058&h=07d2f9e2dcfce0a563cef2d512e3077e299383d4dfcc559be5e016d2d256aac5

The pin that clicks into my 970 geforce gpu has broke and the wifi card is below it but right right above the wifi card is a gpu slot. can i move my gpu right there or no? and below the wifi card is another gpu slot would that be a no?

you can put the clip back in if you want, its not required so just use the slot anyway.
