Windows 7 says that there is no device installed. In device manager realtek hd and amd hd audio are enabled. In bios onboard audio is enabled. I have unistalled (deleting files checked) from device manager, reinstalled drivers which I downloaded from asrock website (a55m-dgs), checked sound - power - multimedia class scheduler to be enabled but nothing changes. Sound troubleshooter cannot fix the problem and sfc /scannow does not report any error. I loaded a linux live cd and it has sound. What is happening?

Straight power 600w costs 125€ in Greece. Will I lose any important features with a 4460 and b85 instead of a h97 for example. Can you please take a look at the parts I have chosen?

Okay I changed my mind for the mobo and get a b85 chip. So we have i5-4460, asus b85m-e retail, kingston hyperx fury 1600mhz 8gb and samsung ssd 850 evo 250gb. I m considering the corsair CX600M. Will this be enough for 750ti for example? As for the case I think that CM K280 is a good choice.

Gpu is the last part that considers him right now because he may buy one later. What about b85 chipset? Can you suggest me a reliable psu for about 80 euros? Thank you for your time!

I had once the same problem with 8.1. Black screen after the first reboot but I could install win 7 normally. I had tried everything then, mainly settings in UEFI. It turned out to be a faulty iso. When I downloaded a new one everything was ok. The point is that I had used the same iso loaded on usb the previous day on another computer without any issues.

If your OS is windows 8 or 8.1 then: Uninstall then reboot pc and run a registry cleaner and delete any folder associated with thermal radar(ai suite). Then install with windows 7 compatibility.

Fans are spinning but displays nothing. HDD led constantly on. When I unplug power from dvd HDD led is off but it displays nothing again. I have tried both onboard vga and agp gpu.

Tried again today. Disassembled, discharged but unfortunately nothing changed.
