There seem to be a few TVs knocking about at that price range. Too much choice - hardly any Input lag stats for them though.

Hi all, Currently, I'm looking for a 4K TV to be primarily used as a PC Monitor, have looked into going for an Ultrawide Monitor, and I don't feel that's an option for me. Will be used in tandem with a 30" 2560x1600 monitor. Would be looking for the following areas: - Screen Size - 32-43". - Fairly low response time - DP 1.2 if possible (Can buy a DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Adapter) - IPS Screen - Budget - £500 Appreciate the feedback! Matt

Displaying a feed of my previous posts on my Website
rhodestech replied to rhodestech's topic in Forum Suggestions
Thanks! I want to collaborate with LTT in the future from a Business standpoint and love the Forum and want to get the Post feed on my site. Thanks again for your time. Matt -
Hey all, Not sure if this is already a feature, but I was looking into finding a way of displaying my recent posts on Linus Tech Tips on my Website. Maybe through an RSS Feed? My Website can be viewed here : www.rhodestech.co.uk (under construction). Also, is it possible to change my Username? Kind regards, Matt

The E-Commerce, Account Management and Forum Support are the big areas. I want to be able to allow current and potential Customers to be able to provide feedback on a public forum and the ability to control their Account (which AFAIK is something SS does not provide) -

[Q] A decent Website Hosting Platform?

I'm based in the UK, but for the time-being, I'm looking for a provider who can offer the Hosting and Front-end in one package. I would rather host the site myself, however, I want to get the Website up as soon as possible. -
Hi all, I plan on building a Website for my IT (Tech and Software) Business and I'm interested in hearing which Web Hosting Platforms you would recommend. I can't seem to find a provider that meets my requirements which are as follows: E-Commerce (Paypal, Card Support), Forum, Blog, Account Management (for Customers). Providers I have looked into Squarespace - The E-Commerce and Forum Support seems to be lacking on their end, but the design implementation is great. Wix & Weebly - Offer great E-Commerce Support, but seem flaky in other areas. I appreciate the feedback. Matt

The LGA standard refers to the Socket Size that Processor will fit into. With the new enthusiast Processors being LGA 2011-3, they will only run on that Socket Size. Not 1151. Enthusiast Processors as of late have always ran on LGA 2011. The technology in the 6950x/6900k is based on Broadwell, and we won't be seeing Skylake-based enthusiast Processors for a while yet.

The 970 gets 3.5/4 from me B) Yeah, you're better off with switching out to an R9 390. On the PSU front, you can't go wrong with Corsair, EVGA, Seasonic and Fractal Designs. Heard great things from those brands. I've been using a Corsair HX750 for the past two years. No issues. Another thing to consider would be wattage too, depends on your future upgrade path.

Can't decide between two Potential Builds, Please Help!

X99 is tremendously better value for money vs Z170 i7 config. Also, you have a higher amount of PCI Lanes with X99 (28) compared to Z170 (20), which means a greater upgrade path down the road. -
[Q] Recommendations for a new Android device
rhodestech replied to rhodestech's topic in Phones and Tablets
I would love the 6P, but price is a factor. The nexus 6 appears to be a real bargain compared to the 6P. At least depreciation can serve a positive purpose somewhat! -
Hi everyone, I will be upgrading from my first gen Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) and have considered the following: -Motorola Moto X Style -OnePlus 2 -Nexus 6 What are your thoughts on these devices? and any other suggestions. I'm not bothered about having the absolute bleeding-edge mobile tech if the price is stratospheric. Edit: I normally upgrade my mobile device every three years. Appreciate the feedback, Matt
