Here in BC we pay health insurance premiums that are more or less the same amount as car insurance.  If you make very little income a part or all of the premium gets subsidized by the government.  Some people have decent jobs where their employers pay for part or all of the premium because healthy happy workers do better work and need less time off.  They also don't quit on a whim.
 
I don't see a downside, it's 2013, first world countries should have affordable healthcare for everyone.

I'd prefer a man with a conscience as the chair than some slimy investors.

What makes me lol is seeing republicans poo poo about how left obama and the democrats and whatnot are and how they're a step away from communism or whatever but in reality democrats are very very right wing, and republicans are EVEN MORE right wing.

why don't they spend money making java not a bloated piece of crap instead of throwing more horsepower at it.

I really liked how much more community oriented and low key it was.  It wasn't as produced and commercialized as it is with Linus.  It felt more like hanging out and less like watching a tv show.
 
I would hope that in the future we can have both kinds of shows.

If you don't want apple, pretty well the only option that isn't SSD only and is small sleek form factor is something like a MSI gs70, they're powerful, sleek, and have lots of storage.

10 years ago the best pc graphics were like world of warcraft 1.0. The best graphics of today that an apu can power are like skyrim with decent textures and a bit of filtering.
10 years from now skyrim will look like daggerfall.

I'm not a 15 yr old YouTube champ so no, I'll happily watch ads for Linus, Pauls hardware, and teksyndicate. They're my only channels.

I can't imagine why microsoft or google can't just have the stuff anonymously leaked.  They are the biggest tech companies anywhere, I'm sure they can figure out how to make it anonymous.

It's a lot of work to run benchmarks or use a product for a long time to do a proper review.

I'm from canada anything with more than 1 lane each direction is basically a freeway lol
