Temps are normal. I have a 5900x on a similar config, 360/280 with a slightly more aggressive fan profile and I keep my pump at a 3200 RPM static.

With your pump running that low it's probably pretty normal.

    Hi guys

I am looking for a high quality TKL (without the number keys) membrane keyboard similar to the discontinued Logitech K810. (not reallt a fan of the bulky and noisier mechanical keyboards)
What I am looking the the keyboard is to feel high quality, and have a small footprint (without the number keys),  and have a minimalist look.
I really liked the Logitech K810, so I am looking for something similar.
I like the look of the new Logitech MX keys, but unfortunatelly that does't come without the number keys.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks

Just leak testing now, using a old rowdy psu.
With the side panels off, its running flat chat because no pwm signal detected. So still to test the pwm. and you might need the fan mount, which i used to mount to the drive cage. But a little extra expense.
I cant hear the ek further than 10" It seemed to bleed the bubbles a bit faster than the eisbecher. But i might just be having one of those days where it all comes together.
The eisbecher isnt particularity loud either. Its light tower tube just foamed up with solid colours, was alright with out the light tower. Still to test the ek with solids.
I probally wouldve just got a replacement eisbecher tank, if a simple tank shipped, didnt cost nearly as much as a whole new pump local and it wasnt xmas.
So i dunno. Pick whatever you like the look of, depending on what fluid you want to run.

Ive had the eisbecher, I couldnt hear it on 3/4th speed with noctua and be quiet fans running 500 -700 rpm. Though I did put some vibro dampeners underneaththe stands attached to the drive cage. I didnt think much of the pwm either.
Ive just ordered a ek 140, after the acrylic on the eisbecher had cracked. Turns out it was leaking into the led ring. So I was pretty lucky there.
I think the ek looks a bit nicer as well. So ask me in a week.

If you are pushing more frames than the monitor refresh rate then adaptive sync (g-sync or freesync) gets disable and it does cause screen tearing.

You should either use v-sync+g-sync if you want butter smooth gaming or fast sync alone if you want more fps than your monitor refresh rate.

Just remember that the less surface area making contact the less heat that can be removed over a given time. You also have less surface for that heat to spread to.

So I see people are leaning towards air for silent operations. The I think I will stay with my current system, instead of investing in a water-cooling loop.

Otonel88 reacted to SCHISCHKA in EK Predator 280 + GPU block VS Air. Which is more Silent?
You won't get silence by changing to a water pump. think about it; you still need those fans but you will also need a pump. Have you tried turning down the fan rpm via bios?
You won't get more silent than a Noctua running below 400rpm at idle. I have no fan on my CPU. Stock GPU. two 140mm fans (only need one but have two just for appearance), and one 120mm. All running at around 350rpm at idle and I max them when reaching 59C which is just below my temp limit on AMD FX. Sometimes I do hear the GPU fan when it switches on so I changed it so its always running. The only way to get it more silent is to go for a fanless celeron mintbox or a modern laptop.

Well if this guys are right, is better to get a 700w one because it will be used around 20% to 45% in my system which means it will be quite, which is what I am looking for.

    Heyyo,

Dude, memory is memory. HBM doesn't "Magically" make 4GB HBM equal to 5+GB VRAM. It honestly is annoying that people think that's true because someone "leaked" an AMD spreadsheet. The ONLY way that could be true is if AMD had hardware-side-magical-on-the-fly-data-compression-that-doesn't-affect-performance. Think of it this way... a 100GB SSD M.2 doesn't magically have more storage than a 100GB 7200RPM HDD just because it can move data faster. All it can do is fill up that 100GB faster. It's ridiculous people honestly think 4GB HBM magically has more storage. Did GDDR5 magically have more storage than GDDR4? or GDDR3? No... only the memory bandwidth and transfer rates improved. That's it. HBM is just a further evolution of VRAM... it doesn't throw logic out the window.
Maybe... just maybe? The Allocation Unit size on HBM might be slightly higher? So actual storage might vary a few Kilobytes or maybe if you're lucky a Megabite or three... but not a Gigabyte or two hahaha...

You get it amigo. I tip my hat to thee.

words never spoken more true! Well? We are getting darn close to July 24. Hopefully unbiased reviews and benchmarks start surfacing!

4 GB is enough for 4K in most cases, even 970 with just 3.5 GB still works well in 1440p, your poll will come down on fanboy opinion.

That's what I'm doing waiting for benchmarks. The thing that scares me is that I'm starting to see a bunch of people reporting problems with their 980tis crashing and still crashing after driver hot fixes have been installed. imo it never pays to be one of the first to buy a new product.

    Heyyo,

    This.

SLI = NVIDIA, AMD = CrossFire... but yeah I know what you meant hehe. A single AMD Fury should do fine at 1440 for the most part... a few games might dip below 60fps with the details cranked to the max, but only a rare few. BUT... 4GB of VRAM isn't much future-proof though... 2GB of VRAM isn't enough at 1920x1080 anymore. My 2GB GTX 680 SLI setup runs out of VRAM before my GPU useage even hits 70% in GTA V as a prime example.

Yep! June 24th is the slated release date. Benchmarks may show up beforehand as Hardware Canucks have already received their AMD Fury X. https://www.facebook.com/hardwarecanucks/photos/a.10153910094040251.1073741827.309223735250/10155633967130251/?type=1&theater

Dual 8 pin power connector... mmm so many power saving modes... neat.
So... I'll be saving my vote until AMD Fury benchmarks come out.

ive always been a big fan of nvidia due to better drivers, lower tdp and better cooling, although i did want the r9 295x2 and as my favourite gpu for some time and still probably is.
the 980ti has more vram though and i dont care if the fury has "hbm" its still 4gb to me so the 980ti would be a better option for me personally.
