  1. Personally I prefer the social aspect of multi-player alot more than say sitting in front of the screen playing single-player games, but that's probably more down to my anti-social work shifts. haha. But I do like alot of single player games, Castlevania being one of my favourites lately, haha.
  2. Thought this was the year of not pre-ordering? Game industry is slowly turning into a potato-fest, spitting out unfinished/un-optimised games for loadsa moniees haha. Personally though, I've learnt my lesson pre-ordering full stop, 2014 was a pretty bad year with day 1 patches/DLC etc. So I won't be, just means I'll have to play the game to get the cash, damn...I wouldn't want to do that now would I?
  3. I enjoyed it, replay value is average, some collectables, achievements/unlocks and I got bored of sitting around in multiplayer as it seems there aren't many people playing it, not a month ago atleast. On normal it took around 6 hours to complete the story without searching for everything as I was pretty drunk. haha. Visually it's a good looking game. The story imo is really good though, that alone made me start it again on the harder difficulty. I enjoyed the combat but as people have stated, it was abit repetitive. I got mine when it was on sale and don't regret it
  4. I went with a higher PSU as I'm unsure of what GPU I'll be grabbing in the future, plan is a 4GB card rather than SLI/Crossfire, just won't be a factor for a long time annoyingly. I wanted the Mark 1 so I could see for myself if the armour genuinely helps out with cooling/dust control, plus there was a military theme originally but that went out the window, haha. There's no reason for me to overkill on an SSD as I currently only fill around 400GB of my TB HDD, so a TB SSD wouldn't be worth the price imo, as currently I use an external for my media/images etc. So thats what the WD black is for to get rid of my ancient external at a decent price without losing too much speed overall.
  5. I originally wanted to dual card which is why I chose the RM750, but went off that idea, which is also when the panic of the power supply question came about, haha. Yeah, my upgrading my mobo was what sparked this, thought it was time I built my own from scratch. Was awhile ago I purchased the ASUS mark 1, at the time for price and the features on it as well as using ASUS in the past, it felt that it was the best option.
  6. Thanks for the reply and yeah, I won't have the funds for a GPU for a good few months as I'm buying this part by part due to job changes ¬_¬ I was mainly worried about underestimating the future cards because forking out for a higher powersupply in a year or so would have been a punch to the trousers. haha
  7. This is primarily for gaming/home use and no real plans to overclock it right now nor use dual graphics cards. As a new builder, I’ve tinkered and upgraded for years, just never really built one from scratch. The power supply is the most confusing aspect of the build IMO. Estimating wattage and future proofing (as far as DDR3 goes atleast), I’ve seen a lot of information that too much wattage is bad for the components, OR that it doesn’t affect anything if it is too high, there's alot of contradicting information out there, I just wanted some opinions on this build; keep in mind there has been a budget on it as living in the UK automatically doesn’t make me a filthy rich tea drinker. Is the power supply for the rig below a good choice, or should I lean lower or higher? MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 CPU: I5 4690k (3.5GHz) CPU COOLER: H100i (with SP120’s) GPU: ASUS GTX760 2GB RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 (1600) - Taken from my current build so they'll be a manky blue  HDD: WD 1 TB Black SSD: 840 EVO 500GB POWER: Corsair RM750 (80+ gold fully modular) CASE: C70 Black with 4 AF120’s GPU will be upgraded this year hopefully, to a 970strix/whatever overpriced nonsense is released at the end of the year, but currently my system is outdated for even a 760, as my current mobo only has a PCI-E 2 slot still, which is why I’m upgrading everything else. I avoided going for an X99 because the price of DDR4 ram made me die a little inside. Any advice/comments on the build are appreciated.
