  1. Not trying to defend Verizon but this stuff happens all the time. My mother receives treatment for cancer and between the negotiated amounts the healthcare and hospital bills and errors that pop up it's outrageous. We've seen legit bills for over $1,000,000 and billing errors almost that much. Thankfully none of it is coming from our pockets but it happens way more than you'd think. Glad they resolved it.
  2. Meh whichever. EDIT: Thread is now dead since it got moved to an inactive sub forum. If anyone has any more details feel free to message me.
  3. We don't know the extend of the damage or the cause. We don't know if it is all phones, certain build revisions, or is it a virus, hack or bug. Just spreading the story and giving a warning. Heads up, I am a die-hart Android user. I own a GS6, my dad has a G4 and mom a Turbo.
  4. Right now we are still investigating the cause. It's so new that no information is out about it. I am the soul source as it stands right now. And it is not just a carrier based thing as stated in the responses. It's happened to tmobile as well. So consider this the primary source.
  5. Yes we were getting complaints and the fixes are an absolute pain because 98% of android users do not backup their stuff because it's not iCloud that does it automatically. People are experiencing the issue just booting their phone up from being off or even in the middle of a phone call, text or video. That will not work. We've tried to put it in airplane mode and if WiFi is still on it will reboot itself.
  6. I don't believe it's software related because older phones that have not been updated in awhile are being affected. I think it's a bug or virus.
  7. My data? You mean how do I know about this? I work in the mobile industry.
  8. I am glad to see it's not carrier specific but now I am unsure what phones won't be affected.
