    well my SIV app is running at startup so it automatically starts running as soon as desktop comes up, the fans even run while booting up but run at higher RPM until desktop comes up

    I am using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit and I use SIV all the time and jiust did fresh install of windows for my new m.2 which I installed most updates didn't use some of the optional updates and I only have Corsair SP/AF fans connected to MB

    yes and my fans rpm will go up until the app center finish calibrating the fans but does not use hardly any of cpu usage

    I once bought an alienware power supply np-1000 which was too big for my case an had to cut the bottom of my case out. talk about low budget lol

    yeah 4690k / z97 and 8gb ram gtx 970 is a good setup. that's my current setup now an I love it !

    Good upgrade, I retired my X58 / 920 and upgrade to i5 4960K and z97 board. only had to pay out of pocket about $120 to $150
