rip to anyone that invested in mining a week ago

I'll just be here, chilling with Gridcoin.

GeForce 210 SLI and OC. We're doing it, boys.

I'll try what I said some day. Eventually

That gives me a really stupid idea. There are PCI-e to USB 3.0 adapters on Amazon, I wonder if you could do it over those.
  4. Still pretty cool. Never been into trading anything, so good luck!
  5. That makes much more sense. What are you going to use it for specifically?
  6. I have very little idea of what you just said but it sounds really cool.

That sounds hilarious. I want to do it.

My gpu is dying at the perfect time, no card in…

Yikes. That sucks ass. Sorry about that I hope those prices go back to normal ASAP. (Doesn't matter for me as much as I use low end or old hardware, but still. Sucks to be in that position)
  9. That's really weird but also pretty cool at the same time. Reminds me of my friend who didn't put enough oil in his Saturn SC2 and had the engine seize on a South Carolina highway. Was 3-4 grand to fix it, so that was great. He bought a Smart Car of all things afterwards.
  10. *Currently own Currently it's a 2009 Subaru Legacy Special Edition with 190,000 miles on the clock. I bought it for 3,600. Kinda regret it due to the repairs and how long they took, but at the same time it's a good vehicle to learn with. So I'm happy my chance of sliding into a tree is reduced.
  11. My God, this has turned into a Subaru circle jerk. Not that that's a bad thing.
  12. Personally, I feel that driving a manual is a far more engaging expirience. Makes a slower vehicle like mine enjoyable to drive. Comes with the added benefit of not being able to text and drive (at least in lower speed situations and "stop and go" traffic) It has helped me learn more as a driver too. If I were getting a car with that much power, I should be getting as much fun as I can possibly get out of the vehicle. If I can't, then I'd rather go to the same road or track with something like my dad's old Probe or 9-3 Hatch. Are either of those the best cars? Nope! Are they the most fun I could have? Nope! (Would probably come from an FRS, BRZ, Miata, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, or something else like it) But on the plus side, I get to push the cars and chose how I want to go around the track, rather than mash my right foot and have a computer do all the other work for me. Do I hate automatics? Nope! I drive one in my family's Equinox quite often, and it makes city driving more tolerable. But I'd take my rough shifting in my Subaru over the Equinox due to the smile I have when I exit my vehicle.
  13. That is the saddest thing I've read in this thread.

On the bright side, soon enough people will start dropping it because it won't be profitable very much longer. (I'll just stick with my laptop death orgy mining Gridcoin)
  15. I'm not sure as I've never looked closely enough. If it's made by AcBel? Yep. Made by Delta or FSP? Probably not gonna kill your system.
  16. A cheap car that needs work is even better. Eg: My car needed the head gasket replaced, which is a pain on the EJ251 motor. Learned a lot though! Now it's on to the emissions system and traction control. Kinda need those.
  17. They do, they're usually super odd form factors though
  18. You can buy 380 Watt antec units on eBay for 18-20 dollars
  19. Don't forget bald tires.
  20. Hopefully I'll be able to join you at some point! Though my skills as a driver are poor at best. (Haven't hit anyone yet, but I've come close. Multiple way stops are still a little confusing to me) Never looked into kart racing, probably should though! The cheapest racing series I know of are Chump Car, 24 Hours of Lemons, and AER (Though you can spend as much as you want here) Hopefully I'll be able to fit this into my busy schedule (Should help with engineering though!) Yep, I totally agree, as someone who fits into the young and stupid grouping. My shifting is pretty atrocious, to name one of probably a trillion fault with how I drive my car lol (Still need to get better at rev matching, I tend to rev it to 3000-3500 when I mean to go to 2100-2300)
  21. Which gen? I know the newest ones produced 210 hp, 235 lb-ft with the V6 and 230-260 hp on the V8, depending on the model I think.
  22. Just not a beater with 500 HP Or even 200
  23. I agree completely with the outcome. I also really envy you for being able to race cars that young. (Happy I won't be blowing the wheels off my car with 175hp and long gears though)
