Valaris reacted to Piipperi in Sponsorship Suggestion/Complaint Thread - April 2022
I'm not quite sure is this the right place for this discussion, but I was listening to the latest WAN Show and I heard LTT is going to collab with Dream. And to be quite honest, I don't think it's a good idea. There's so much controversy around them (beyond the cheating issue, like how Dream basically said that doxxing is fine and it's not really a problem if their fans doxx a random person on Twitter)
I think you should re-evaluate this collab, and possibly do some research about Dream to form your own opinions about the topic. I also heard that DankPods was in a need of a NAS, I think the collab could be with DankPods instead of Dream.

Possibly a stupid question but which case is that?
Edit: Nevermind, I just saw read the rest of the post which mentions the P3.

Valaris got a reaction from Teddy07 in Experiences with non-techies
Project Manager was jealous that some ressources had HP Spectres laptops so to make his case, decided ALL team ressources (including the devs/designers) needed Spectres.
Great, we all gained touch screens. But we went from an I7-8th gen cpu to a I5-5th gen and downgraded from 16 gigs of ram to 8 gigs. But hey, we looked sharp while everything crashed.

I still log on once in a while, get sucked up for a week or two intensely. The game is stranely addictive. I got way into the Switch version too.

Here I thought I was crazy for spending way too much money on a keyboard that matched my build, this is a whole new level! I love it!

Valaris reacted to Slottr in Need some suggestions for my new build
Don't waste money on two 2080ti's, SLI has basically zero benefit in games anymore.
Then with that, you need no where near a 1200w power supply. Just grab a 650 or 750w RMx or similar unit and call it a day
Then I'd drop the cooler for a D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4, they're cheaper, quieter, perform the same, and have less possible issues in the future such as leaks or a faulty pump.

Valaris got a reaction from b emoji in Mechanical Keyboard Club!
Been rocking this JC65 for a couple of years now. It goes so well with SA Oblivion. I used to have SA Danger Zone on it (Hence the matching cable).

Valaris reacted to astranger200 in Turning my laptop into a desktop
it sure is, but you will be turning a multi thousand dollar laptop into something no one else would buy. you would be able to sell it and buy a same specced desktop

Valaris got a reaction from PixelPol in How do you justify large purchases to yourself?
Budget budget budget. I know a healthy part of my income goes to mortgage and savings so I don't feel bad about splurging when I know I'm putting some aside and taking care of bills.

Valaris reacted to geo3 in Corsair and Logitech keyboards - crap?
IMO not needing software running in the background to get full functionality is a huge plus. Not the other way around.

It's not as cool but you could always go with a really capacity USB drive.

Hell of a build you got there! Any plans to do something with VMU's as a side project afterwards?

Valaris got a reaction from Tedster in Raijintek Triton AIO question
Mine had the sticker. I removed it and put in another dye (I wanted purple). Been without issues for 2 months. I did see several reviews about the packaging not being good enough and things cracking in shipping. Hell, mine travelled from Vancouver to Montreal twice before arriving at my place and was without issues. I got lucky I guess.
