  1. Does that mean every camera app is iffy or just the stock app? I've had some issues with ProShot for a while now (photos looking good at first but then it adds a terrible yellow-ish tint to them).
  2. Have you encountered any bugs/issues so far? (*925 user too) If Windows 10 for Mobile isn't a huge step forward I'll probably switch back to Android next year.
  3. The Mamba was always expensive. On top of that, owners reported that the coating was peeling off very quickly. Not much value for the price. Razer products are getting more and more expensive while the quality is often very lackluster (noticeable lag with wireless mice, the "old" Orochi is said to have a very annoying "wake-up time" from sleep-mode, terrible battery time of the Naga Epic/Chroma, can't replace the battery of the Naga Epic Chroma, etc.). If their products were the best on the market - with no other brands reaching their quality and value - then the price might be justified. But as of now you're only paying for the physical appearance.
  4. Not really. On Newegg.com it's currently ~$80, which makes it as "expensive" as the Razer Naga 2014/Chroma and cheaper than the Roccat Nyth. Only the Logitech G600 is cheaper at ~$70. (lesser known brands not included) The price fits in with the competition. Unless you're refering to the old "US $ vs. CAD $" thing. (as of right now US$1 = CAD$1.38)
  5. Situations like that are the reason why I still prefer some things to be available offline. Movies/shows and music, I still have most of them as DVDs and Audio-CDs. No streaming services for me. It's also the reason why I despise those "you have to be always online, even for single-player games"-BS. And I understand the irony in that since the WoW servers are currently down for maintenance
  6. "Handy tech" and "XBOne Wireless Adapter" does not go together. Windows 10-only and just a rip-off, considering they could've gone Bluetooth from the start...instead of selling proprietary, overpriced stuff for the PC.
  7. Nope nope nope nope. Don't get me wrong, I love Psychonauts (had it on PS2, XBox, X360 and now on PC; it's one of my all-time favorites), but this guy can not be trusted anymore. People were pissed when it happened last time, but it seems all he has to do is wave around a beloved title and people throw money at him again. I hope this won't turn into a Molyneux cycle ("yes, last time was terrible. don't worry, next time we won't disappoint you").
  8. Well, Razer does sell a replacement for the rechargeable battery but only with a catch: "Compatible with: Razer Mamba 2012, Razer Naga Epic and Star Wars: The Old Republic Gaming Mouse" http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-high-endurance-rechargeable-lithium-ion-battery Although, 20 bucks ain't that bad (depending on how long it will last you). I hope Amazon has it in stock soon so I can send the Naga 2014 back and the the Chroma one.
  9. Also, another reason why I decided to go with the Naga 2104 instead of the Naga Epic Chroma is the non-removeable battery. It will die eventually or become unusable without the cable plugged in because it can't hold enough of a charge to use it wirelessly. At least with the old Naga Epic you could take them out without any effort. Best thing: only 6 months limited warranty on the battery while the mouse itself has 2 years.
  10. Razer's store is absolutely overpriced! I just checked and the Razer Naga 2014 costs here 100€ (cheapest found via Geizhals.at is 79€ regular and 65€ right now on Amazon as a Blitzangebot) too, the Naga Epic Chroma even 160€ (cheapest found via Geizhals.at is 125€). Those prices are horrendous! And they don't even let you pay with PayPal here. btw, not pounds, but euro
  11. Actually, it is more expensive. Razer has the Naga Chroma listed at ~100€ and I bought it from Amazon for ~84€ (and in about half an hour they'll have it even cheaper during their Cyber Monday Week Sale). I'm planning on returning it once they have the Naga Chroma in stock (which should hopefully be in about a week or two). Edit: 65€ for the Razer Naga 2014 now....I really don't have any luck with deals right now... When they "escalated my case" to a "specialist" I only got a guide for issuing an RMA in return....pretty useless. Be aware that some people report the Naga Epic Chroma having a noticeable lag when used wireless.
  12. Yeah, I'm kinda pissed since I asked Razor about it (a few weeks ago) and they said "no info and unlikely since we already have the Naga Epic Chroma". Bought the Naga 2014 and guess what: the Naga Chroma was suddenly on their page.... bunch of morons
  13. On http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_925-5451.php it says the 32GB version is exclusive to Vodafone too, but I think there are versions available now without sim-lock/branding. Yeah, I remember Linus having trouble getting his review of the M8 for Windows iSwitched going because of trouble with the providers (I think it was something like the phone being locked for the US and no one wanted to unlock it for him so he could use it in Canada, eh). It also seems that MS is favouring India and the EU when it comes to Windows Phones (Poland was the first country to get a specific update for example). The 928, 929/Icon are still not available in Germany. It seems like Windows Phones are always staying behind, if not with hardware then with software/apps. With this in mind, even the "high-end" Windows Phones appear to be overpriced. I hope this changes with Windows 10 for Mobile but I'm afraid that MS will continue the "gimme yer data"-trend on their phones. It also seems that MS is favouring India and the EU when it comes to Windows Phones (Poland was the first country to get a specific update for example).
  14. You forgot to mention that the 925 also only has half of the 920's storage (16GB instead of 32GB). There IS a version of the 925 with 32GB but last time I checked it was exclusive to Vodafone. Damnit....I should've got the 1020 instead...
