Hello Tech Tips community,
I am relatively new to PC building after recently completing my first rig. That is to say my experience is limited. My brother has a serious problem with his HP Envy laptop. The mounts that hold the screen to the laptop itself are broken and the shell around the screen is cracked badly and are in need of replacement. My question to you is, would it be possible to buy a new shell for the laptop to go into, even if it is not the OEM shell that came from HP? If so where would I be able to buy such a thing? I am really hoping to get some help here as i have found the videos that the Tech Tips channel produces to be quite helpful in getting started with PC building and modification.
