I get these all the time. I don't even have an Apple account.

Can't say I've gotten many email scams recently but when I get phone scams I troll extremely hard. Act like an old guy who can barely hear... ask them out on dates for my "free cruise" etc... tell them I pulled out all of my teeth so my dental coverage should be cheaper.

Yeah, these are extremely easy to spot sometimes... almost laughable for techie people such as us.

The only problem is they catch the non-techie crowd, which includes the elderly and others, that it makes it worthwhile to them to do it

I say over and over again to my mum that she should NEVER respond, including calling any numbers to any mail she gets, and not to give out any details in phone-calls that call you etc... luckily she doesn't have emails etc, they all go through my account, so at least that part's covered.
