>Me: Guys, I literally dont understand why you HATE the notch/hole punch in the smartphones so much. It's LITERALLY not even that big of a deal, I've been using mine now for nearly a YEAR and I can tell you even though my cutout is HUGE I BARELY notice it so the teeny little hole in the new S20 is INSIGNIFICANT why are you guys bitching so much? It's not even super noticeable have you even USED a phone with this feature and just gotten USED to it like the REST of society? Just shut up, accept these as facts that smartphones are moving forward and let them design the best phones they can.

Honestly I'm still pissed about the headphone jack gonna ride with my s8+ for as long as possible

Agree. People get so worked up over the silliest, minute things. It's just a tiny camera hole. Get over it. lol.

As for the headphone jack, I've gotten over that. It's a minor inconvenience to carry a little USB-C to headphone adapter around with me, but it's become habit now.

I personally think the pin hole camera is still a better option than the pop-up camera. I would rather not have anymore points of failure in added moving parts.

I do kinda like Asus's solution which uses the rear camera as the front camera when it rotates. But that probably has the MOST chance of failure of all the options available.

I like the manual flip up camera but making a case for that would be hard

@TVwazhere Holy cow, they put a controllable stepper motor on that thing. Hopefully they performed endurance tests on that motor as I don't foresee it lasting long.

I'm still bitter about the lack of bezels. I like having a place to rest my thumb(s) or grab my phone without opening my contacts, calling aunt Judy, and then buying 40 units of hentia p0rn.

i don't moan or complain about it, but I don't understand why we complain so much about problems with other devices, bad designs, poor construction and then ignore the reality of this one. Take your pick on the item but as tech enthusiasts we HAVE our opinions and we nitpick on everything when we find a device. But most of the things we complain about are oversights, missing features, things company X didn't consider. The notch is advertised as a Positive feature, an addition. I don't understand how something that prevents easy use of basic screen functionality and has to be fixed with 3rd party software for some apps is considered a positive feature. I also don't understand why some argue to just roll over and accept it and get used to it. I know you're joking about it but some people really act like it's perfectly fine or even good. It's a bad design factually. It impedes proper use of the screen, adds extra complexity to fix visual issues caused by the screen no longer being a rectangle, and doesn't even look good (that's more opinion but still). I'm not mad at people for dealing with it, but why should I have to like a design flaw when everyone else gripes about every other design flaw there is? Why is this one so special that we have to all look the other way and pretend it's not stupid and (more importantly) unnecessary? It adds nothing good and causes basic functionality issues. Let's all say it together: The notch is bad. It's not evil, it's not the end of the world, but it is stupid. It is a bad design and there's no reason to WANT it. There's also no reason to start a riot over it. There's definitely no reason to put the camera on a cheap motorized pop stand....
