For $30 (the same amount of money), a NF-A12x25 is half the dBA for about 85% the static pressure, not to mention 3x the estimated life span....

I generally speaking like EK as a watercooling brand, but their fans are just....

Oofies compared to the 2000rpm NF-F12s as well (I have the 3 pin version, this spec sheet is for the PWMs for a better comparision). F12s make way less noise, again last much longer, move a good bit more air, have a much higher static pressure, and I think they use less power too?

Oh oh and I just actually checked EK's page, and first thing I noticed:

They also claim it's built for incredibly high static pressure, but the NF-F12 does like 2/3s more while being quieter and 13mm slimmer (26mm slimmer in a push/pull setup, that's easily letting you run a 60mm rad vs a 40mm). So the F12s don't just push air through a more constrictive rad, they're slim enough to actually let you use one in a reasonable case.

Yes the F12's are definitely the best radiator fans. I'm still partial to the A12's near 10dBA noise level difference since the fans wont always be at max RPM to leverage the advantage they have.

I can't stand fractal fans... on both of my cases that are fractals I replaced all the fans, mainly because they were 3 pins for the most part, but even the PWM ones were crap too. Replaced with Corsair ML120/140 which are pretty good IMO, especially for the price at ~£20-24 for a pack of 2.... I love how quiet they are. I also have them on my rads. At idle right now the fans are reporting 480rpm and sitting at ~34C
