  1. TIL Windows 18709 comes with Snip and Sketch; an upgrades Snip which allows you to bring up Snip with PrntScrn (enabled in Settings). This doesnt bring up the window to edit the picture though, so it's best used for things you want to catch at a glance. 

     

    I might start using this in place of Snip

      In Linux I use Spectacle which pops up upon hitting PrtSc. Can copy to clipboard or save to file. Works just like the Windows snipping tool. Pretty handy.  ;)
