Moonzy reacted to --SID-- in 3600 + 3070, 550 or 850W
CX550M has a double forward topology on the primary side. With a 3070 GPU it would have coil wine and probably the transformer makes a loud noise because it can't handle power spikes.

Moonzy got a reaction from Hi P in In terms of features, are NVidia GPUs far superior than AMD?
i have not experienced any recent AMD GPUs so take my comment with a grain of salt
but the last time i used an RX480, the "shadowplay" equivalent of AMD is absolute dogshit, it wouldnt run 90% of the time, making you miss moments in games, which is irreplaceable

Moonzy got a reaction from SorryBella in Can I put a x4 to m.2 adapter in a motherboard that only has 1 native m.2 slot?
if you're using a GPU, it may not like to have a card infront of it, may affect temps negatively, depending on how large the expansion card is
otherwise, it should work just fine

im not sure if i would want my mic to do any filtering by itself

Moonzy got a reaction from Filingo in An RTX 3060 Ti FE that was used for mining - worth buying?
they carry the same risk as any used PC parts, just make sure they work, ask them to run stresstest in front of you if possible
just like how used hardware conditions differs from user to user, mining hardware does as well
