Yeah, but it's not called e-ink or e-paper I think And it uses a 1.5v cell or smth
  2. Well I just have to tell you that the side effect is more wear on your GPU fans, so there's that
  3. I set mine to 80 or 100 depending on the rig config
  4. TIL this exists

Saw someone using it today, wished I have this because of all the maths I can do on it

It's not a screen, I wonder how it works, but I can probably guess

It's $2 on my local marketplace

The screen is what you call a e-paper screen. You basically write on it by using force and then it's erased by refreshing it with 3.3v.

      Yeah, but it's not called e-ink or e-paper I think 🤔

And it uses a 1.5v cell or smth

  5. I'd like to add that maybe you want to crank up the fan speed because if your algorithm is VRAM heavy, then your core won't be hot and the fan won't turn fast enough to cool the VRAM which doesn't have temp sensors on them on most cards

Anyone have some good 130-140BPM songs? I found…

genre? https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets?m=0&q=bpm>%3D130 bpm<%3D140&s=any edit: forgot u nid osu account to use their search feature oops
  7. cant really comment on your setting for this algo specifically but your setting seems about right for mining ETH (and other VRAM based coins)
  8. i think i need a clearer picture does this have to do with your previous post about your 6700xt flickering or it's a whole different issue? if it does, it happens even without drivers now? across multiple GPU and brands? do you have iGPU? i'll definitely make sure the monitor works from another HDMI source first, it's easier if we can isolate the issue but through HDMI?
  9. so it's an issue spreading multiple computers and displays? tried the dad PC on another display? trying to isolate the issue here to clarify, not on either of these PC right?
  10. All AMD APU are nerfed hardcore compared to their CPU counterpart
  11. for 900 series, i dont think there's Vsoc, so it's probably Vmem or Vcore Vmem is normally at the sides, so it might possibly be Vmem, gotta look up PCB breakdown on the internet to confirm

and often includes a table too small for the pizza anyways
  13. tbh im not too familiar what that particular mosfet is powering, if it's not Vcore then there's a high chance that lowering power limit doesnt do anything to it it's weird that it's the same one that breaks if it's Vcore since there's so many phases for it, one would assume it would break at random among those phases that's fair, it's not an isolated incident as multiple people have reported the issue
  14. yeah but the hardware accelaration might not have kicked in or something before the driver -shrug-
  15. why not message and ask EVGA about it? 58% is quite low imo, even if you're paranoid lol if it worked fine on 100%+ with OC, it should works just fine on 80% or smth but yea i've heard of EVGA's 970 breaking left and right
  16. might be hardware issue?

Still gonna avoid all Corsair PSU? Lol They all use the same cables, but this is a type 4 cable, so I think it's only used in their high end models The new RM850 uses type 3 while the old one (RM850x) uses type 4

I just saw this two days ago on z390, had a failed overclock so it defaulted to this
  20. Windows 11 would handle the different types of cores in most of 12th gen Intel better from what I understand You don't
  21. What? They probably never tried to use AMD's shadowplay equivalent then Don't think I've had as much issue on Nvidia's driver throughout the years than me with AMD drivers in the half year I used an rx460 in my secondary PC
  22. The Asus noctua thing doesn't make sense to me because they're using $80 worth of fans on a GPU with MSRP of $499, that doesn't really need the fans But yes, better fans on high end cards are nice

Probably, yeah, it's not really cost effective to take into consideration the niche scenarios
