Small server pc for gaming?

I'm looking at building a pc to run a server and i was wondering if i could get some help picking out the parts. I've currently got an Z97S Krait edition motherboard and an EVGA 500w power supply that i can use. What kind of server can i build with those? Would it be better/cheaper to use those or should i buy all new parts?

I really like this case but the one thing ive been wondering is will a gtx 980 hybrid and a 120mm AIO liquid cooler fit in there at the same time? If not what would you recommend doing?

No its not needed but preferred. I have a Corsair Air 540 but want to switch to a mini/micro atx.

The 850 is cheaper where i am, the reason i asked the question is that i have an 840 and want to get a second ssd and was wondering if its worth is to spend more money and get 2 850s or just get another 840.
