  1. well do you think that it is possible for a third party to make software that would manage audio devices?
  2. hardware logitech g930 wireless headset windows 8.1 I am having a issue with the headset that whenever i turn it on I have to go back into playback devices and manually select it as the default. The problem with this is that if I am mid game and want to use my headset instead of speakers I have to ALT + Tab to get out of the game and manually enable the headset to get sound coming through them. I want to be able to use my headset without having to manually select it in the sound menu and when i turn the headset off it automatically goes back to my speakers. Is this possible?
  3. This is what my after burner looks like. I ran kombustor for about 15 minutes and nothing weird happened so I am going to guess it is stable.
  4. I have been looking into overclocking my GPU. Watched a few how to videos to get a gist of things, but one thing I am still unclear on is how to i know i have maxed out my memory clock. i have the gigabyte 960 wind force ( the one with three fans ) and online i can see people are roughly getting a core clock of around +100mhz and saw somewhere one here a memory clock of +600mhz. That seems like quite the increase and it just makes me a little uncomfortable. Is such a increase okay? if it matters i5 4960k evga 750w 80+ gold power supply
  5. In your opinion what is the most you can get from your dollar performance wise.
  6. I am thinking of purchasing the nh-d14 but i am not sure if the cool will clear my heat spreader on my ram. This is the ram that i have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231538 the ram is positioned in the channels furthest away from the CPU socket. does anyone have any kind of experience with this? because i really dont want to have to buy low profile ram.
  7. is this considered "high end" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214041 if i was to go with a closed loop cooler. what would be a solid recommendation?
  8. Just so it is know. my CPU idles around 38C
  9. what about this? I have been impressed with NZXT's products and would be willing for put up a little more coin. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835146041
  10. I just build a gaming rig putting a i5 4960k in it. At the time i didn't plan on doing any over clocking (and currently still do not) but i was told the stock cooler would be just fine for cooling my CPU... well the temps it operates are out of my comfort zone. I looking to spend roughly $50-70 on a cooling solution. my question is should i go with a air cooler or one of the closed loop small but thick radiator solutions?
  11. the CPU doesn't spike to 100%. the "drive" tab under task manager... I am assuming that is hard drive usage. well that spike to 100% drops down to maybe 95% but thats it.
  12. it says everything is fine, but the problem still persists. I tried buying and using a new sata cable and the problem remains.
  13. i cracked open the case and it was a seagate barracuda... so i downloaded the seagate scan tool and it did not help.
  14. it says the hdd manufacture is (standard disk drives)..... so i was unable to find the manufacturers check tool
