  1. It was actually the reverse for me, I’ve had always heard of Linus and watched a video here and there, but after watching that WAN show he was on got me on as a full-time viewer/subscriber of LTT. He will be surely missed, his impact on the industry and games like Warframe will always be there. RIP TotalBiscuit
  2. Source: arstechnica.com & engadget.com On April 13 the FCC Published their Net Neutrality Rules that were passed Feburary 26th The official publication of these rules allows for parties who are against them to file for lawsuit against the FCC. Within the same day a trad group knowledge as USTelecom filed for a suit against the FCC saying that the FCC rules: "violates federal law, including, but not limited to, the Constitution, the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, and FCC regulations promulgated thereunder." USTelecom represents many of the mobile US ISPs. (Sorry for ill formatting doing this on mobile, will be fixed shortly)
  3. That is what im unsured about too. It doesnt seem that clear. When it rolls out or close to its roll out date more will be revealed
  4. No, the youtube creators have to agree to allow it(the subscription service). If they dont their videos will be set to private untill they agree to it, no one but themselevs will see there videos. The youtube creators dont have to pay anything just agree to it being used on their chanel. The youtube watcher will essentially not affected. If they do not pay they'll just see ads. if they do pay they dont see ads. No videos will be restricted from you. YouTube is not making a paywall service with this program
  5. @MinimalEffort Yeah, but with this your supporting the content creators
  6. Sources: Bloomberg.com & TheVerge YouTube Partners have recieved an e-mail about(see atached image) YouTube's plan to create a ad-free monthly subscription service like Twitch.TV's Turbo service. The e-mail talked about YouTube's lastest efforts to reach to a broader audience and help a YouTuber's Experience(YouTube Kids and Music Key Beta). The Verge article stated that some sources said that the new subscription offering will be mandatory.
