  1. Deblow- You are my hero. This is beautiful. I haven't smiled that big in a while. Keep us posted!
  2. You don't have any auto hobby/parts stores? or even craft stores? they tend to carry this in small quantities.
  3. Do a couple sketches, brainstorm. Would it be worth it to redo your current case? Are you handy and have tools or friends with tools? Or would buying a case for 50+ dollars be better suited if you're not too sure what you want? Also, cable management (routing the cords, wrapping them in colored plastics etc) would be an additional route you could take especially if you opt for a 'side panel window' Hope this helps!
  4. Lot of mixed opinions. FC3 I think was a better thought out title. New Vegas was lacking imo.
  5. Google is your friend. You WILL have to tweak for most games for optimal settings. I play God of War, .Hack series, Final Fantasy X. They all have settings unique to their optimal performance. I would suggest downloading Plugins, Game fixes etc.
  6. Cool heads win the day. As I was waiting for a response, I cleared the CMOS (fixed my initial boot problem last year) and flashed an updated BIOS and ran 'normal' OC settings in the BIOS and it worked. The ASUS logo on windows 8 startup doesnt show up any longer since I'm not using 'fast boot' If this happens again I'll do a fresh install. Thank you~!
  7. Hey guys- Thanks for the help with the boot problem I had last year. New issues have arose. -Booting will result in one of the following: 1. Code 61 - NVRAM init. - doesnt progress further in Boot Sequence. 2. Overclocking Failed! Screen 'press f1 to enter BIOS' 3. Attempt to go into Automatic Repair (50% of the time it will continue, the other half it will lock up) 4. If it DOES boot..... here's a video of what happens. http://youtu.be/nHAQuz0aOfE
  8. Got my system all booted up today with some guidance of the fellow forum members. shut down, and installed the 3 other ddr4 DIMMs in the appropriate slots. same symptoms as previously posted (after installing windows and everything) http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/296385-asus-x99-pro-no-boot/ boots fine with one DIMM. why is this?
  9. did both of these. holy shit thank you. I'll post updates
  10. Hello all, First computer build. Not booting, and I'm pulling my hair out!
