  1. Hmm, would a mini-itx be a better idea? It doesn't have to be a laptop, I was just gonna go with one for convenience.
  2. I'm not exactly sure what VSTS is lol, it's not really EDM music, lots of different genres, just wanna make some stuff in DAW, but yeah I'd be recording vocals and some guitar.
  3. Check the Phanteks site and see if they sell filters, dust is just a natural thing when it comes to desktops man >_< you could probably make a filter out materials from Home Depot. or something, and use some very weak magnets to stick it on. Just make sure the material isn't conductive.
  4. Alllllrighty, so I'm interested in a laptop for DAW stuff and recording, I've never owned a laptop, I've always been a desktop guy, so I need some suggestions. I'd like to keep it around $300 but I can flex. I honestly have no idea how much a laptop for this type of stuff would cost, not exactly sure how CPU intensive DAW programs are on laptops either >_> Thanks, folks.
  5. Exhaust, why would you want to blow hot air into your case?
  6. You're gonna need a little more than 400 dollars.
  7. Install from USB drive if you can. Much easier and faster.
  8. a 212 is out of your budget? Save your money for awhile duder.
  9. don't get the 960. get the 380. As to your question I suggest getting the 4gb version of a card. 2gb cards are starting to be not enough anymore.
  10. I have the k70 and I HIGHLY recommend it. I've got the blue switch version with red LED's. I had a hard time finding one that had that setup.
