It should be at the very least 50% performance upgrade in non-CPU bound scenarios so it's up to you to decide if that's worth it.

Tho I mean technically since they're just a logistics Company they could be transporting Worms as well I guess.

Anyone else has this issue recently with YT app on Android 14 (Pixel 7 in my case)?
I watch YT in the app and then switch to web browse while just listening to the video. Then I want to switch back to YT and it wont let me, neither by clicking on the app icon or by trying to select it from running tasks. Tapping basically does not react at all but all other opened apps work fine.
Only way to fix it is to kill the YT app and start again.
Restarting phone did not help. Haven't tried to reinstall the app yet.

I've been having an issue where Shorts autoplay after watching one. Strange part is, Comments and Share link remain as those for the first Short watched until I physically swipe to another Short.
Also ran into a few cases where the UI was unresponsive until I switch from/back to the YouTube app.
The YouTube app is seriously buggy imo.

1.) Game is extremely CPU intensive and your CPU is quite old and underperforming for this game and depending a lot on where you're located on the map and how many players are there in the vicinity the performance will vary a lot. 2.) Same for the VRAM requirements though I haven't played this on 4GB card but I know this game can sometimes allocate almost entire VRAM regardless if it needs it or not, you may run into some areas where you're actually suffering from the lack of VRAM and have to pool your DRAM as a substitute which on DDR3 will be very slow and impact performance quite a bit more than if you were using more modern platform. I know you mentioned it sometimes run ok... do you always test in the same area on the map at least? The game also tends to run a lot better once more players are eliminated so at the start of the game you may have issues if you land somewhere where there's lots of people and then it can get better towards the end. Or you may be lucky and land somewhere where there's almost nobody and have the impression the game runs a lot better because of that. It's a tricky game to benchmark, comparing with friends systems is not that straightforward.

I'd argue that the i3 12100f is quite a bit better gaming CPU than Ryzen 5 5500 (which due to the lack of cache is more comparable to the Ryzen 5 3600 rather than it's other Zen3 peers). So at minimum I would go for Ryzen 5 5600 if he decides to go AM4 route. But the i3 build is also cheaper so...

For big workstations with ton of storage and PCIe devices for people who need this to earn money. Not intended as a desktop replacement for your gaming PC and web browsing needs. -
Primary timings are not very important if secondaries are tuned properly which they should be to some extent with AMD EXPO so no... there is little reason to go from CL36 to 30 at the same speed.

tRFC is extremely slow. But that does not matter as much if your tREFI is high enough. What is your tREFI right now? The 2T command rate is not really that big of a deal. That said, you could probably claw back like 5% to 10% perf from memory tuning but if your 1% lows are in single digits it will not make that big of a difference. Don't disable mitigations if you use this PC for anything other than gaming... Yes, they do have a performance hit on your system but they are negating a huge security flaw in Intel CPUs.

I mean a quality 500W unit will be sufficient for this and in theory a quality 400W would be as well but good luck finding a quality 400W for a reasonable price. Generally it's best to get something like quality 750W for future upgrades. Yes, it costs more but it does not cost twice as much as a quality 500W so unless you're on a very tight budget I would recommend going with more.
