Your Xbox is probably displaying the download speed in Megabits per second (Mb/s), while computers usually show download speed in Megabytes per second (MB/s). If your downloading something on your Xbox, it would show 30 Mb/s while on your computer it would show 3 MB/s. Usually the conversion factor from Megabits to Megabytes is .125... so.... (30 Megabits/s (Mb/s) * .125) = 3.75 Megabytes/s (MB/s). This is most likely the cause of your "problem." It is not an issue with the download speed, it is simply a difference in how the download speed is displayed to you.

I think that I have figured it out. However, I do have one more question. I want Drew to be able to access his folders but not be able to access the system files. But if I change the permissions of the parent directory then it restricts the sub directories as well.

I have had many friends that have had the System process in Windows 10 specifically using significant amounts of RAM. I was able to resolve their problems changing some page files settings. Basically (If you have more than one drive on the system): 1. Disable the paging file on the C: Drive. 2. Enable it on another drive that is not the system drive. 3. Either make the paging file system managed for that drive or set the value manually to 1.5x to 2x the amount of RAM that you have in your system. You can change the paging file settings by navigating to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings > Performance -> Settings... -> Advanced -> Virtual Memory -> Change...

In my experience with the 8350 and the 4790k my minimum FPS with the 4790k was much better. Their averages may be similar, but I noticed a huge difference when switching from the 8350 to the 4790k. (All other variable remained the same in the system)

No, get an Intel equivalent or better. If you already have a motherboard and can't change to an intel board, make sure you have adequate cooling.

Warning: Use distilled water if you decide to take that route. Regular water may result in a dead keyboard if it is not already dead.

You don't need a gaming motherboard for gaming. Most motherboards will do the trick. Gaming motherboard mostly offer more gaming focused features. You could find another motherboard that matches your theme for a lower cost. A 500 to 600W Power supply would do if you don't plan on upgrading to another card in the future. Otherwise, I would keep the 750W one. I know this sounds bad, but you could use the stock cooler if you wanted to if you don't plan on overclocking. Then later you could always upgrade to the 212 Evo when you have the money. Get the 390 over the 970 as well.

I use 8.1 with some modding, works well for me. Always has. I would go with 8.1.

As the title says BenQ W1070 or Optoma HD141X I've been looking for a while now for 1080p projectors in the sub $1000 dollar price range but I'm stuck between these two. Will be used for TV and Movie Watching as well as gaming on the side (steam link 1080p 60fps, xbox 360). Any recommendations or reviews would be much appreciated. Hello all, I don't have ADSL or any form of it for that matter, but I was wondering something. If the power went out, would a DSL service stay active if I had the modem and networking equipment running on a UPS? I would assume that if a power line went down (like literally fell down), so would the DSL cable. Thanks.

How to change the routers IP to 192.168.0.1: 1 - Navigate to Network Setup under Advanced Configuration 2 - Change the Local IP Address to 192.168.0.1 from 192.168.1.1 3 - Leave the Subnet Mask the same. 4 - Save Settings 5 - This will require you to type 192.168.0.1 into your address bar, and re-login to the router. Change DCHP Range: 1 - Navigate to Network Setup under Advanced Configuation 2 - Scroll down until you see Network Address Server Settings (DHCP) 3 - Change the start IP Address to 192.168.0.2 4 - Set the Number of Addresses to the desired number. I.e. if you wanted the range to be 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.60 you would enter 58. 5 - Save the settings If this answers your questions please mark this thread as answered.
