  16. So I just sold my 7950 for a good price and in the process deciding what R9 290 card to get, but I thought they were 399 MSRP (nvm newegg just has them high amazon is at 399) but when are the after market coolers coming out? I thought it was going to be late November. ( I remember linus saying he would be getting them 6 weeks after or something like that.)
  17. for what? it could be cheaper to get lower end boards and using more of them.
  18. post pics so we can see the damage
  19. well you are going to be doing some soldering
  20. nope you'll need to use a 2 molex to 6 pin.
  21. This makes no sense at all! Every PC runs on like 3 different voltages +3.3 +5 -12v and +12 there is no way to over volt your fans. Which all fans run on 12V. The ONLY way this could even possible happen would be some how ground got swapped with -12V thus giving the fans a total of 24V but I really really really really doubt that happened.
  22. wut? this is literately impossible stop trolling or post pics.
  23. idk know what i did (more readable I hope)
  24. get 290 way cheaper but you have to think electricity that shit adds up running 24-7 and from the looks of it 290 get around ~720Kh/s you dont want to go crazy on the OC they just die faster better to get lower hash rates for longer.
  25. It shouldn't fit unless you really pushed so you should be fine.
