DebatED Nothing reacted to Quaker in Small cases?
Even though my 250D has room for 2 x 2.5" and 2 x 3.5" drives, I ended up using an 120 Gig M.2 boot drive (on the back of the motherboard) and a single 2.5" 500Gig SSD.

fractal design uses reputable psu brands so your fine. But they are about the only ones that offer a psu included that is not garbage. a few others that make quality psu that may come with the cases are evga and in win but those are the only ones i can think of

It's of relatively good quality, so it'll more than suffice.
The two exceptions to good case PSUs are the Fractal Node 202 and the EVGA Hadron.

a day or two now...
And yeah I'd believe that... if we assume 10% IPC boost per gen, plus the fact new chips are clocked in the mid to high 3's instead of low 2's, I'd believe that
Edit: And benchmarks confirm, the i3 manages more total performance and destroys on single-threaded

DebatED Nothing reacted to DocSwag in How much heat from a heat emitting source (e.g. CPU) is turned into radiation?
Ok, so reading all of these responses, I feel that infrared radiation is a very small percentage of the heat emitted by a heat emitting source.
Therefore, I think I may change my direction to finding a way to do the same with conduction (probably via the Thermoelectric effect).
Thanks everyone for your responses!

Generally speaking unless something's in a vacuum it will loose most of it's heat by convection and conduction. Radiation doesn't tend to come into effect until you're muuccchhhhhh hotter.

What I would say to you is that you should just go for it. Don't read internet guides or watch a really long video series on coding, just start out trying to make pong (for example). Use google along the way to find out how to draw a circle, how to make the circle move, how to make the paddles and so on. Just learn by doing, and if you can't come up with ideas, learn by copying old games and then push yourself to add something interesting to them. By game 6 or 7 you'll really be getting somewhere. If you want to get into formal games development (ie working at Rockstar games or something) then you'd realistically either need to build up a portfolio of interesting and well made games this way, or take a degree course in computer science.

spraying deodorant in the intake fan of my pc to see the route of the air and later realizing deodorant has liquids, pc works fine though

DebatED Nothing reacted to Condor in What's the one component in your PC that you haven't used/pushed to its full potential?
Definitely my corsair HX750 PSU, which I thought would be just good enough for my 3570k and 650 ti boost
I'm actually super glad that's the one component I overdid it on, because now I can just move it to my new rig and save a decent chunk of money! Just wish me from 3 years ago had gotten a fully modular PSU instead of a semi..

DebatED Nothing reacted to MasterMustard in What's the one component in your PC that you haven't used/pushed to its full potential?
My Corsair case's physical front i/o start button...
Why?
I power off from Windows start menu and power on by pressing my keyboard
button.
I should start using it to take advantage of it's full potential.

I'll have to admit I haven't been on as much since the design change. I don't know why, something subliminal and subconscious about it makes me not check it very often

Heh, didn't mean to come off as defensive, was just trying to inform.
We are very aware of the issue as we have seen the comments for months... And yes like you said - sensor cleaning, if done improperly, can cause serious and permanent damage, which is why we wanted to make sure we were doing it right rather than rushing in with improper tools and incomplete knowledge.
-
DebatED Nothing reacted to nicklmg in Dirt on LTT Camera Lens \ Sensor
Sensors are not quick or easy to clean, and you need special materials that we have never had in the past (as we have never dealt with this issue before).
TL;DR we're super busy and not maintenance experts. It's being dealt with (or hopefully has been dealt with), though.
