  1. Link Below to a cheap SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721108
  2. Im sorry but it was the bios. The bios were very old and weren't compatible with the newer card. I contacted support many times. Hp and EVGA and both said the same thing. It is a bios thing. Its fixed anyways. Psu was brand new as well and had plenty of power. I understand everything you said and already took it into account and it should have worked, but when it didn't i couldn't understand why so thats when i came to a conclusion that it was the bios. It was the bios. Do research on the exact model and you will understand.
  3. So we figured out the problem. Sorry it took so long. The motherboard just isn't capable of handling the 700 series cards due to the bios last being updated in 2012. Go with a strong 500 series card if I were you.
  4. 6C at idle and 23c under load. People don't believe me but in bios it says 23c and in open hardware monitor and cpu-z it all says the same hahaha. I like keeping things cool!
  5. You can go fx-6300 and you wont need to overclock but you can if you'd like too because its always awesome. Just make sure your vrms don't explode hahaha! Otherwise go 8350 or 8320 overclocked and you'll be good!
  6. Go for the EVGA. That's my preference.

  8. Go #2 and oc the 6300 to around 4.4 or 4.5 and oc the 260x and you get better performance etc. cpu and gpu wise.
  9. Go for the I5 if its strictly gaming. Go 8350 if you do some heavy multi-core stuff etc.
  10. We sent it back. Now im getting him a 550ti and hopefully the compatibility wont be an issue. If it gives me beeps again im gonna try and get off the metal protectors on the ports directly from the motherboard and try to do stuff from there. Ill keep you posted. It may take some time though.
  11. I actually watch too much Linus! lol It sounds a bit stupid but it happened to my friend so its still possible.
  12. I'd recommend getting a new psu. 650w may meet minimum requirments, but with a 780ti and core i5 under heavy load it can very well reach 650w. The 780ti can be extremely power hungry at times. My friend had a 600 w with a core i5 and 780 non ti and the psu couldn't put out enough power so he got 750w instead.
  13. the problem is i cant even get into the bios. it freezes before i can do it.
  14. But ive done this with multiple pc of the same type and ive never had to do that. i still feel as if its a comptibility issue.
  15. I couldnt uninstall the old driver unless the gt520 was in and i couldnt get to the dvi on the mb because hp frigin drilled metal onto all the ports so that you need to get a special screw driver to get them on to access the ports
  16. There is only one pci express slot. i took the old gt 520 out and replaced it with the 750. Its a x16 slot
  17. Hey guys! So my friend has an Hp Pavilion HPE H8-1114 desktop pc and wanted a graphics upgrade from the gt520. He went and bought a 430 watt and a 750 without asking me and asked for me to install it. At first I thought it might work, but i was a little skeptical. As I installed it i put in the psu and kept the old gt 520 in there and it worked perfectly. Then, i put the 750 in and it went to the hp load screen and it said "press esc to go to setup" etc. and then i got the beeps. 1 followed by 3 fast beeps. I called evga and hp and the support wasnt helpful at all and i think that the newer 750 isnit compatible with the mb. I updated the bios from the hp sitwe and it still didnt work, but i noticed the bios were last updated on feb 6th 2012. 2 years behind so im guessing that its a compatibility issue and im thinking of just getting him a 550ti 1gb because another friend has the same pc and got the 550ti and it works like a charm. any thoughts? thnx guys!
  18. So my test bench is lying to me? Please stop trolling. I tried to start a simple thread were we can peacefully talk about the 9590 and what the MAIN POINT OF IT WAS! Not for people like you that start problems. My test bench and results don't lie, and my 2 years of experience help as well. Again, check your sourtces please and don't post if you don't have anything nice to say.
  19. Im sorry, my facts are not wrong. Please check your sources. Im not an intel fanboy btw. Im actually an amd fanboy haha!
  20. This is kinda old, but when AMD came out with he 9590, what were they trying to accomplish? It up to par with an older 3570k and the newer i5's beat it out. The only time it may pull through is through multi-core performance, but still. Plus, the 9590 price went down from near $1000 to $400 and is still $130 more than an older 3570k for equal performance. Now I notice that they are focusing more on their Apus since almost all devices nowadays use them, but what was the point of the 9590? Last ditch effort to compete against Intel? Let me know what you guys think!
  21. On newegg they have some 780 ti's for 699 up to 739. Its just a beast, nuff said.
  22. If you need an air cooler for for the 212 Evo. Its around 35 bucks and works like a charm. If you have a bit more to spend then I would go with a noctua nh-d14 depending if it can fit in your case. Its a little bit cheaper than an h80 and has better performance.
  23. Like everyone else. Hyper 212 Evo is your best bet!
  24. My personal preference is Noctua. Not too loud and they are great when it comes to moving air in and out my case.
