Raven45XE's Achievements

  1. Second type is called a Function. And if you are wondering, the difference is Functions return a value, whereas Subs do not return a value.
  2. I tried to use cables from one modular PSU to another. 2TB HDD literally caught fire.
  3. in winforms you can use https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.webbrowser.aspx
  4. https://awesomium.codeplex.com/
  5. C# (Primarily used for work) VB.Net HTML (not really a programming language, but meh) CSS ^ SQL ^ Javascript Java (a little) Phyton (tiny bit) C/C++ (basic stuff) Atari Basic (first programming language learned.)
  6. 970. Cooler and warranty of the 290x makes it quite bad. Fyi warranty for clearance models for PCHub is 1 month only.
  7. Would I need a DAC to properly drive these, or the onboard sound of the Z97-A enough for the most part?
  8. They are usually $140, but the shop are selling them at a discount because the HyperX Cloud II Headset are coming out. Am I missing out on a lot if I get this, and not the II's (or is it worth paying double for the II's)?
  9. I have the Z97-A and it's great. One thing of note though is that the backplate is really flimsy, and some holes does not match perfectly to the ports. The board itself is great though so no real issues once you set it up.
  10. I just got a deal from a local shop for 3 Gainward GTS 450 512MB GDDR5 gpus. I know these are old and all, but I'm planning to use two of them for the rigs that i rent people. These are mainly used for internet/docs/and some moba games/csgo. The third one I'll give to my friend to run a dual monitor setup for programming and some light gaming. Do you guys think I made the right call or I should have gone for newer but more expensive stuff? Edit: Just a note, these are apparently old stock but unused, and not refurbished.

  12. I saw the same review. I was leaning towards the jetstream initially as it matches my mobo color (Z97-A) but got worried with the build quality when I saw said review. Update: I ended up going with the Zotac card.
  13. I'm having the same impression that the Zotac is a good card. I was just thinking if it's worth the $50 more. Gigabyte G1 is around $500 here, so no.
  14. Not available in my country. And even if it is, it will not be $349.99.
