i'll just send you a private message so we can discuss this further. I made this post to see what people might suggest for LED strips. I'm not very familiar with what makes a LED strip good or bad.

Cablemod has EU store/warehouse now...so yes, they do ship to Norway without any Taxes and VAT having to be involved
(But go with modguru anyway if they have what you need, better supporting your own economy and businesses than US's).

Hi, @4ndromeda !
If you are going to sleeve the cables you already have you will need:
ATX Pin remover, sleeve, lighter. 4MM sleeve, you can go with heatshrink to melt the sleeve or you can use your fingers and a lighter.
If you are going to make completely new cables you will need:
ATX Pin remover, sleeve, Crimper, ATX Terminals, Connectors, Lighter.

modguru got a reaction from KettyKoala in NZXT H440 logo LED
So I personally own 3 H440's. All of the H440 LED's are dead. I've had too many replacements to replace them. You should find a molex to 2 x white LED's. Cant remember if it is 3MM or 4MM LED's, but it will look alot better.

Edit: Red LED's are also ease to get

modguru got a reaction from Railgun in Looking for the best quality LED strips
@Railgun Hi!
Hmm, just like @W-L said, if you place your LED's on a good spot, lighting the way of the components in the case. You wont see this

We are EVERYWHERE!!! lol Its great how LTT has Industry Affiliates, we can directly interact with members, help members when needed, and also receive help.
As others have mentioned its all about the placement of LEDs, and also the type of window. Some windows are quite thick and end up raised about 3mm inside the case, which is what caused that annoying look, a bit of black tape, or black marker pen around the edge will stop the light penetrating the edge of the window.
Quick tip, look at the amount of LEDs per strip, 18 LEDs per 30cm is best for an even look, you can get strips that contain more but most of the time they use smaller LEDs called 3528 which are not as bright, while the strips that contain 18 LEDs per 30cm use bigger LEDs 5050 that are basically 3x 3528 chips in one bigger chip.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will happily answer them.

modguru reacted to TetraSky in Help from the forum
Filled the survey. I hate LEDs on computer, I personally ripped the ones I had on my fans out and covered with electrical tape the ones I couldn't remove, they are bright and prevent me from leaving the PC ON at night since I can't sleep with a bright light in my face, so my only suggestion is an OFF switch, if there isn't one already.

Oh thanks for making me feel better
I remember when there was another LED strip giveaway, I had a crazy idea of putting them along the sides of a bed or above my work desk...
If you need someone who has a very deep imagination, PM me any time
