  1. big fan of the headphones coz of the wood in the design.
  2. also i would recoment the enthoo luxe over an H440 as it is far more functional but still fairly clean looking i.e it has a psu cover etc
  3. if you have enough money i would change the bord to this but it is quite a bit more expensive: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-634-AS&groupid=701&catid=5
  4. depending on what you use your system for you might want to upgrade your ram as it is running at a slow speed and you only have 8gb but if your ram usage is still low then dont bother
  5. cheers but that still doesent explain why old cpu's with less threads have the same amount or more cache
  6. i was just wondering because i have just purchased a 4690K and i noticed that it had the same cache as an old core 2 duo that i have (6mb). so i was wondering why the cache in CPUs doesent increase very much over time
  7. my current GPU is an r9 270 which i quite like and would like to get another and run in crossfire. unfortunately i recently discovered an issue with it involving drivers. it first happend when i got assassins creed 4. i downloaded the game but when i tried to launch it it crashed before even getting to the menu. i fixed this issue fairly quickly with some new graphics drivers(amd omega 14.3). this was fine and the game ran with no crashes but when i rebooted my PC the problem came back. i installed the drivers again and it worked again. i now have to reinstall the drivers every time i reboot my PC. this problem also occurs with a lot of other games from different companies such as crisis 3, tomb raider and assassins creed 3 so i am fairly sure it is a driver issue. it does not affect all games however e.g. it does not affect thief, simcity or hitman absolution etc. help me thanks
  8. im on a 4 core 3.8 ghz fx with an r9 270 and im willing to spend about £250
  9. i just had a go on an oculus rift yesterday and now i dont know whether to get that or convert my system from amd to intel
  10. i'm currently using 1 amd r9 270 graphics card but it will soon be time for an upgrade. with the new nvidia 960 just come out im wondering whether to get that or just to get another 270 and run them in crossfire. the 270 would be the cheaper option but i tend to play games that are nvidia optimized.
