The cable is fine. Works well with on board graphics.

Tried hooking up to motherboard hdmi port. It works flawless. Even tried changing the pcie slots.

It's still under warranty but I've lost the invoce slip. Sadly, I can't do nothing.

i7 4790k Asus Maximux VI Extreme Motherboard. Tried DDU but it didn't helped. I started Battelfield and after 30 seconds of gamelay my pc restarted, on the boot this appeared.

Did my gpu just died or what? It's a 980 tho. And any fix?

Try clearing up your CMOS and resetting your bios.

No there's no case rather then a test bench. I'm waiting for the case as it will arrive anytime soon. My friend psu turns it on and my psu wont, even though it's a new psu.

I just bought parts for new PC build. After building up the pc, the pc wont turn on. The light on the motherboard comes on to confirm that there is power going to it but when I try and turn it on nothing happens except a click sound that seems to be coming from the psu. I've tried a 600w corsair psu and it seems to be working and powering up my rig, I have Corsair hx750. But the psu turns the motherboard, GPU lights etc but wont turn or boot up the PC. Does anyone know if it is a fault with the PSU, any suggestions?

The country in which I live in is not having any kind of corsair support so I paid my relatives in America and then they gave me when they reach here. Any esle solution because it would cost around 70$ for shipping to america and back.

When I plugged hx 750 into the dell pc, there is a red start button rather then blue start button when ai press power button. Btw the lights are still on on the motherboard and on the graphics card.

I installed bf3 and opened chrome, suddenly no signal appeared on the monitor. I then checked the pc and noticed the the pc is off but the lights on the mobo and gpu are still on. I pressed power on button but the pc is not booting up, fans are still. I was having an old dell pc so i removed the psu and plugged it in this one. Removed gpu and everything but just connected 24 pin and 4 pin. Then I turned the pc on and it started but due to less watt psu it was closing after some seconds. This means that the psu is not working. I have build a new rig 2 days ago and bought the psu for about some days. Any solution? The psu is hx 750.

Bro i know how to use bios flashback. But the question is that.If i do usb flashback, will i be able to use 4790k because many people are saying that i didn't work for them and they bought a cheap cpu and use asus bios updater

Ok so i am having i7 4790k and motherboard is maximus vi extreme. So it's obvious that 4790k will run on z97 mobos but we can use 4790k with z87 mobo by use flashback bios updating. I know how to fo that but in many forums they are saying that for 4790k to work you will need another cpu installed and update using asus bios updater and then i will be able to use 4790k on z87 mobi. So please tell me is that correct or not.
