  1. Thank you all for replying! I dug my busted PC out and contected the Hard Drive and it ran with no noise aside from the start up rev. The PC does not post anymore but still powers up. I will get a docking station after payday and see if it works there. If not, I will probably end up building a new PC. Thanks again for all the info.
  2. Plugged in my HDD from my old rig using a (SATA to USB 3.0) cable with a 12V adapter and my HDD sounds like it is trying to constantly power up. I don't hear any clicking sounds, it just revs up for a second, stops and repeats. It does that over and over until I disconnect the power. The plates spin and it doesn't feel like there is a problem with that but, the HDD does not show up on my computer. Could this be a PCB problem? Would a head swap fix this since the disc has no issues spinning? I don't want to open it up just yet so I am looking for any tips that could help me understand whats going on with it. What tools and software should I get to help diagnose the issue? I am trying to access the HDD using my laptop. Unit: WD Black 1TB 3.5'' Model: WD1003FZEX-00MK2A0 Hope to get some help, thanks! HDD sound attached to help diagnose. HDD Sound.m4a
  3. Thank you very much! I will try this when I get home.
  4. Need help with port forwarding so i can change my PS4 NAT type to open. Tried following videos and other forum posts step by step but I cant seem to figure it out. Any info would be great.
  5. I really hope not but if that is the case then that really sucks... I muted the right speaker and I get nothing at all, not even a vibration. I really want to open it up and take a look but it would void my warranty. Thank you all for the immediate responses! It looks like I need to have it serviced to avoid voiding my warranty. This sucks a lot seeing how I just got this laptop just this last September.
  6. Good day everyone! I have had this laptop for almost 3 months now, and just this morning I noticed my left internal speaker is not working at all. It is not a balance issue since both sides are at 100%. I googled and found that it may be my Realtek HD Audio driver is out of date. I downloaded the new driver from the Realtek website and after launching the application it had uninstalled and then installed the new drivers after 2 restarts. I went to play something on Youtube and my left speaker is still out. Uninstalled my audio drivers manually and installed them and still nothing. I have no idea what to do and I hope there is nothing physically wrong with my speaker. Any help on how to fix my issue would be awesome.
  7. I will give this a try. Thank you.
  8. Any tips on how to remove the current drivers using the Mobo graphics or do I really need to have an alternate GPU?
  9. Not just us, there are about 4 pages of people reporting crashes. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/921332/geforce-drivers/official-364-47-game-ready-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-released-3-7-16-/
  10. Please update what you find. I don't have an alternate GPU to test it.
  11. I am a bit relieved that I am not the only one experiencing this but feel bad for the others that it has happened to. I cannot use my GPU at all. It is just sitting on top of a skittles box in front of me.
  12. I was playing a video game like I do everyday when that little Nvidia notification slides in from the side and says there is an update. I clicked on it and let it do its thing after chitting the express installation button. Monitors flickered and did its usual stuff before finishing up. It flicked a few more times and never came back to the desktop. BSOD popped up and my system restarted. It just kept cycling from the Mobo screen to the Windows logo with the little loading circle until it stops, flickers and then ends with a BS. It showed a pixelated image once then BS'd on me, kinda like a colorful Missing No. from Pokemon. I removed my GPU and I am trying to remove all Nvidia software but it will not let me. Just need some help as I have never encountered an error like this. Here is the full error message: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys) Operating on Windows 10 Pro Edit: Driver was updated about 45min before this post.
  13. I wish I had another one lying around but I don't, I have to invest in another one. This is going to be an expensive troubleshoot.
  14. Would the PSU be the reason why my RAM is stuck at 1333MHz?
  15. Thank you very much for the info! Yeah I have had the panel open for about 2 weeks because I thought it was a heat problem. I will purchase a new PSU next week. I will just have to deal with it till then but I will return here if the problem returns after the new PSU is installed. It may also be faulty wiring here in my place. I am moving soon so hopefully I get everything sorted out.
