Joegeddon got a reaction from jusxusfanatic in Which orientation!
The third photo looks the best in my opinion. It also keeps the wires facing away from view.

Joegeddon reacted to AresKrieger in RX 480 vs R9 390
Honestly the 390 is a little better from the benches I've seen (keep in mind those were reference), so a $200 390 isn't a bad option.

Joegeddon reacted to Jack Longman in "Brexit"
this is a short term reaction, uncertainty always causes a currency to drop value, in short no-one knows how we will end up, richer or poorer in the long run. Just with uncertainty a currency will lose value

Joegeddon reacted to Delicieuxz in Will PC components become more expensive
I think any animosity towards the UK over exiting is overstated by governments, since there are other EU nations eager to get their chance to have the same vote. Also, trade-agreements prevent people's attitudes from affecting things.'
Also, Scotland would have voted to leave the UK, if it were not for last minute promises from Cameron's government. And those promises led to many would-be 'leave' voters conceding to vote to remain in the UK, which I think they heavily regretted immediately afterwards. I don't think Scotland will resent the UK for leaving the EU, but I think they will have another chance to leave the UK, which I think would be great, if it's still their will.
As for the UK leaving the EU, if a country cannot stand on its own outside of the EU, then how can it be argued that it actually is a country at all? If it is dependent, then it is merely a state of another country, which I guess would be the EU. And with all the threats and fear-mongering being made towards UK to try to convince them to vote to remain, I think those things proved that the UK wasn't its own nation anymore, and that it was merely an unhappy hostage of the EU.
This video really made the point to me that the EU is not a democracy, and it is not respectful of its member states' governments or citizens.

Joegeddon got a reaction from Bluetac in Will PC components become more expensive
Temporarily yeah. Economy will stabilise though. Uncertainty lowers value. UK was one of the most valuable currencies in the world due to it's stable economy.

More like "You don't want a broken system creating new laws for your country that are pretty much impossible to reject? FUCK YOU!"

It's fighting back and won't work until you apologize. Sometimes computers can be sensitive. Be nice!
In all seriousness, sounds like your goofed the HDD.

Joegeddon got a reaction from Mobby Dick in Budget Gaming, is a gt 730 enough?
I think the bare minimum you can get is the GTX 750. Not the Ti. Or the Radeon HD 7850.

Joegeddon reacted to SLAYR in Dimm full, BIOS sees them, only uses half
To let Linus gt a notification you have to use @LinusTech, but he may not get to your notification as he gets a lot of them.
Half of your ram could be bad check each dimm one at a time in th motherboard to make sure they work, if not make sure that your cpu can support 32Gb of ram.

Joegeddon reacted to Enderman in 980ti vs AMD 490
it will be similar to a 980ti if not better
if not, by then you will be able get a 980ti for cheaper even
so either way you should wait

Joegeddon reacted to l__T__l in Anyone noticed that AMD & nVIDIA reference designs are extremely boring now?
Reference coolers look really nice now, I'm guessing it's because you can cover every bit of the card except for the fan in a blower design so it's easier for it to look clean. As far as old reference cards go I like the 5XXX series cards.

Joegeddon got a reaction from hex4 in Is this graphics card worth it?
That card is terrible. It doesn't even have an HDMI port and it's a quadro card which are generally used for professional work.

Joegeddon got a reaction from hex4 in Is this graphics card worth it?
Both will run CS:GO but I'd go for the Radeon because it is more powerful.

Joegeddon reacted to hex4 in Is this graphics card worth it?
A very underpowered card, would be lucky to get a video output in CSGO let alone play it.

Joegeddon got a reaction from elz33 in i7 6700k or i5 6600k
If you're only doing gaming and maybe light video editing I would go with the i5 as it gives you more money to spend on a better GPU.
Here's the build I'm planning if you want to look at it. It's using a standard i5 6600 not the K series one.
