Hey, Linus Forums I am building a gaming/art creation computer and I was wondering if I could get some tips on the parts selection. When I say a partly budget pc, I mean that I am trying to keep the prize low, however if there are improvements that are valuable, I dont want to cap the prize at a certain level. For now I have tried to keep to a lower grade system, hence a i3 and a GTX 750Ti, however all tips towards parts are welcome, especially when it comes to bottlenecking, because I am slighly worried that the CPU will bottleneck the system. Thank you in advanced! I have added a photo showing all the parts

Thank you, ill probably try some thick paper or something. It seems a bit skcetcy, but it will probably work just fine.

Do you have any idea what i can use to cut out from? If i use paper the final product wont be really neat

Hey, I am looking to try to paint my case with this logo: Do you have any tips to how i shall get it done? Earlier i have spray painted using tape, but its a lot more difficult when you have such a complex picture.

Hey, I was looking to know if anyone had any experience with the Bitfenix Prodigy M yet? Is it good to build in? Any limitations? (BTW not going to watercool or anything ) Thank you

Well the Z chipset is generally more expensive than the H chipset

Free and free, you have to get a Z motherboard, K prossesor and a heatsink. It easily turns into 100 $. Especially in Norway 10 - 15 % is a lot, and I will definitely get a aftermarket GPU, as they are the same price when you look at sales some places. As for intensive folding/mining, I don't think thats what a "normal" PC user does. It is certainly handy for work and to make a living, but not in home use.

I have always wondered how much performance does overclocking really give you? Besides synthetic benchmarks and "showing off" to others, does it really have an effect on your day to day usage of the computer? Is the extra money worth it? I realize that almost everyone on this forum is particularly interested in computers, and you are probably a bit biased. But try to give an honest opinion. Is overclocking just for the ones who has a lot of money to spend? Or is it for the masses?
