    Actually not really. They had one experience with Razer some years ago and now it's "HURR DURR Razer sucks forever!" Like you, " I burned myself once on Razer", which constitutes the majority of whiners. The rest just hear people like you spam it everywhere and join in baselessly.
     
    It's almost as bad as the people pretending to be audiophiles on here.

    Definitely the iphone 6, less hassle and you already know the UI/Ecosystem so it should be a much smoother transition to switching.
    Other than the crappy aluminum and battery fix thingy, you should be fine.

    This is chroma only not the 2013 nor 2014 only the chroma  
    Make sure Synapse is installed in your computer and you are connected to the internet.      
     
    2) Launch Synapse.   
     
    3) Download and Install the Firmware updater from the link below: http://dl.razerzone.com/drivers/DeathAdder Chroma/win/RazerDeathAdderChroma_FirmwareUpdater_v1.04.02v2.exe  
     
    4) Unplug your mouse from the computers USB port.      
     
    5) Hold down the left click, right click and scroll wheel and plug your mouse back into the USB port without letting go.      
     
    6) Once the mouse is plugged into the computer wait about 5-6 seconds and then release the three buttons. Windows should detect a new USB device in Bootloader Mode.   
     
    7) Follow the onscreen instructions in the Firmware Updater    
     
       
     
     If all this dosen't work then you should RMA it  
     
       
     
    For me all I did was download the update and it fixed but you can go the extra steps
