managed to get a recording of what exactly happens, this is a clean install i have just reinstalled windows and all the updates

it happens when i open any app, launch any game, going into windows settings, even file explorer Just opening chrome and using it like watching youtube or twitch makes the usage at 100%

I pretty recently built a new computer, it was fine until one day I randomly kept getting spikes of 100% disc usage and now its constant whenever I opened any app. Things I've tried before the clean install. its always system or wsxapps thats using 100% disc update windows to latest version SFC /scannow DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Disabled sysmain and connected services on services.msc i've tried a clean install via windows settings and chose cloud reset and it still was 100% disc usage Lastly i installed windows media installer on a USB, wiped both partitions and installed windows on the m.2 and its still 100% disc usage (and ran every windows update to latest updates) im to a point where idk what to do anymore specs 5600x 32gb ddr4 3600mhz cl18 XPG s50 Lite 1tb m.2

That monitor is heavily outdated and old, Try the XG2402 If you want Gsync XB241h or PG248Q

1070 or higher should be fine 1060 can barely hold 60 fps 1080p on max settings so...

There aren't any that use the exact same shell, The Kone pure 2017 or Fnatic Flick G1 could be a good alternative.

XB241H , Really though if you're pulling 144 frames you dont really need Gsync, Generally you should use it only when you run games that you cannot achieve 144
