    But OPPO (Parent Company of OPPO) sells phones that have the Google Play store and the OnePlus range doesn't have a crappy iOS themed theme.

    It's predecessor did not have a micro SD slot... Does this have one?

    Also, rooting Xiaomi devices is an utter nightmare... Some even have their boot loader locked as well

    One last thing... Xiaomi does NOT update the Android version. My mipad still runs KitKat 4.4.4 after 18 months of updates. It has finally been dropped from getting further updates. Whatever version of Android Xiaomi phones run out of the box, is the only version it will ever use. Miui omits many of Androids great features including the lovely material design. Also, miui is poorly optimised

    CM 13... Okay, you may be able to flash a custom ROM after all. BUT, each version of miui has a different method. And each time, it gets just more painful

    yes, you can request them to unlock the boot loader or do it on your own. Methods are available on youtube, but so far only the redmi note 3 has a locked bootloader
