hey, china spends a lot of money sending students to america, it would be very beneficial to steal our research and form their own secondary education system that rivals our own. china is a world power that lacks the research edge of america, germany/france, or japan. If they want to shift from a production state to a development state they have to invest in intellectual growth, and stealing it from the US is an amazing short cut. -

NO! you cannot. only same type GPUs, even a 980 will not work with a 980 Ti.

I've got mine on preorder and intend on doing a user review when i get them, but has anyone seen a solid release date? i see that logitech's site is now off preorder and listing them as sold out, but when are we going to see them ship? anyone got any linx?

do you need a DVD-W/R? i'd ditch it. you could probably get away with an i3 to be honest. but i think you did a decent job.

most programs that allow GPU computation allow you to select which GPU to use. folding for example lets you pic. otherwise you offload the workload for the monitor onto the card which it's plugged in to.

just like you would any other card, afterburner or precisionX both allow separate card selections, but most use-cases don't need to overclock.

stocks, weather stocks, stocks. constant CPU/GPU monitors and task manager. 2ndary web page so you can read game cheats while you game on your first monitor. 3rd we page so you can watch LTT vids or listen to music while you game. game in windowed, full screen. AKA borderless window

in 75% of the cases where this happens the cost is next to nothing, people do this most with extra random GPUs they have laying around.

having a shitload of monitors. using one for rendering/ compiling/ mining/ folding. and using the other for the daily driver.

you can run any two cards of any type and any generation if you do not intend to use them for the same purpose. the only limitation is that if you run a radeon and a Nvidia card some proprietary things like Nvidia PhysX will not allow you to enable them.

it's hard to use over 16GB, i know i have 32GB. you aren't going to see a difference in RAM speed.
